The post timer was created to help facilitate meaningful discussions and replies to topics. You can read more about why it was included in the software update here.

With the way the update worked, it was implemented on any new post created but not retroactive. This means that older posts won’t have the timer unless it is added manually.

I hope that helps clear things up!

Oh yes, I remember the 5 minutes. I thought it was another timer like a count down clock to something. :alarm_clock::person_facepalming::laughing:
