Greetings everyone ! So, the long awaited sequel, Practical Magic 2 is now in theaters. I was wondering if anyone has watched it ? If so, did you like it ?. I saw the movie last weekend and I have to confess I was a little let down. Maybe it was all the hype and build up beforehand ? Plus, I found it to be a bit too Harry Potterish for me. I’m just curious about other opinions. ☆

Hi! I haven´t seen it yet; I´m waiting for it to be on a streaming service because I don´t like cinemas a lot. But is there ANY movie sequel that´s better than the first movie…I don´t know. :joy:

I have not seen it but Rotten Tomatoes critics were 39% and the public was 91%. I’ll catch it when it streams. For those who love the books and the first movie, it seems like a match and maybe a pass for others.

Exactly ! I can’t think of any movie sequel that is better than the original. I just wish Hollywood execs would produce a really good, well written, beautiful movie using A-list actors, that is so dang close to the actual, factual practice of Witchcraft, that people leave the theater with a new positive opinion of Witches.

I can think of some but generally that is so true. Most sequels are money grabs.

Hi all, my son surprises me and took me to the Cinema to see it, and we were the only 2 people that watching Practical Magic 2 on that Sunday Night 13th September 2026. And I love it; I am not going to tell you anything as you have to see it yourself. All I am going to say is that I loved Practical Magic 1 and was very surprised that they made a nr 2. And I love it. I will watch it again, as you say it is going to be streams. Blessed Be
