Yes it’s back. Practical Magic 2.
And here’s the trailer from the first one, released in theatres October 1998. Wow -yet the film still feels as magical today as it was all those years ago.
So how about joining me on a witchy read of those fabulous Owen sisters. Let’s see where they came from in book 1, what life the aunts led before Gillian and Sally in book 2, then relive the first film through book 3 and ending with book 4, where did all that magic come from!
The author is Alice Hoffman and you can get her books anywhere, audible, kindle, paperback and library.
You ready for a trip down memory lane. Then join me as we start on book 1
Magic Lessons
Every story has a begining…
For centuries, the women of the Owens family have been cursed: any man who loves an Owens woman will die.
It begins with a baby abandoned in a snowy English field in the 1600s. Gentle Hannah Owens takes the baby in, and as the child grows, Hannah teaches little Maria about the ‘Unnamed Arts.’
When Maria is abandoned by the man she loves, she invoked the curse that will haunt her family for centuries. Because magic has rules, and they must be obeyed.
There’s no real time limit, but it’ll be good to be finished by September when Practical Magic 2 is released.
Please share how you’re doing in the books, what you think, how it makes you feel, all the juicy bits of their story as we read together.
Have fun and remember:
