Yes. So you can use the charcoal ash, salt, herbs that are left over in your fire proof dish. Mix with water and paint with it

Ashes from different woods or herbs, would affect the result of a spell or any other work?
My partner coppiced a beautiful Hawthorne tree.
It’s said that brings bad luck!
Want to use as much of that wood as I can.
Have in mind to make pentacles, Christmas wreaths and boxes to keep my tarot card sets.
