Romani knowledge

I am looking to connect more with my Romani roots. I know my ancestors traveled in wagons and didn’t stay in one place for too long. I want to integrate my Romani with the witchcraft beliefs. Does anyone know where I could find more info on this?

My grandmother had a family Bible, not sure how helpful it would be and if there’s anymore living generations that practice or even local.

Wow, how wonderful. Where to start, the Romani go way back and cross many regions. They are strong in Italy and we still have Romani community here in England, they arrived here around 16 century.

Personally you’re on an Ancestor hunt so start with your family and work backwards, then see which part of the world you get to, and connect with their Magick.

I wish all the blessings of the gods go with you. What an adventure.

I think I need to trace my ancestors back. I may see if my father can shed some light on it. I’ve just always wondered where my origins came from. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I truly believe I’m not the only practitioner in the family. And there’s a reason why I’m draw to the craft. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Back when I was studying the Rom, there weren’t many books on the subject, and most of what I found were biased against a culture which was only trying to survive in a difficult world. I liked what little I did find, and I wondered if I might have a drop of gypsy in me for a time. I only quit because of lack of info available at the time. Thus, I am interested in following your path and learning with you, if you don’t mind sharing.
