Can I use Royal Jade in place of Aventurine in spelling, or spell jars, etc

I don’t see why not 
I associate both of those stones with abundance and prosperity, so if that’s what you’re going for, it should work just fine!
I also think that if you feel like the stones are similar in energy, then you can use them in whatever way works for you. Crystals may have generally agreed upon correspondences, but there is no one “right way” to work with crystals – their attributions and associations come from personal practice and various traditions around the world.

My wands is made of crystals, most of them a color of aventurine, so I just go with the color in that case as the focus, not necessarily the stone. Believing that our ancestors did not have access to so many “doo-dads” as we do, I try to keep everything easy, and within reach. So, I use the colors, representing the chakras for my spells and colors if needed. That being said, now that the holidays are over, I am having trouble finding the small white tealights that I use daily. Trying to figure this one out….maybe use my incense also for the flame. (Budget constraints and minimalism)—-again, yapping and on a tangent…..sorry—-Merry Weekend my lovely Witches!!!
