This rune explores our energy levels in the mundane and can enhance healing techniques tapping into the natural healing in the earth. It taps into the unconscious life force drawing on this to aid healing.
Here’s a few things you can do.
Enscribe/carve this rune onto a wooden spoon (careful of splinters) and use this spoon to stir your medicines/soups/teas for healing pouring this energy into the mix. If using a metal spoon, using your finger, dip it into water, then draw the rune with your wet finger onto the spoon instead (you will have to repeat this each time you use this spoon after you’ve washed it.)
You can carry it with you with a piece of garnet in a mojo bag.
You can draw it onto both inner wrists.
(This doesn’t replace medicine, but aids the healing process).
I just love the Runes. I have one sent to me daily and the one that was sent today just so happens to be one I resonate with and that is, Isa. Here is a detailed description from the website; cbeeapps@gmail.com
Description
Isa is the rune of ice, frost, and timeless stillness. It emits cold and frigid energies, glistening with beauty and gem-like radiance. This serene state of being, symbolized by ice, is a metaphor for mastery over focus and concentration; concrete and locked in place. Isa is a great rune to enhance clarity, composure, and focus.
Isa can also mean to kill or “make cold.” Like the motionless ice, the corpse also lays still and frozen. Isa is a powerful addition to runespells of destruction or death; for it not only focuses the energy directly on the target, but it enhances any runes near it with this clear and focused intent. When paired with runes like Thurisaz, it can create an intense spell of either defense or destruction.
Isa is in direct communication with the frozen underworld, Niflheim. This realm of mist, fog, darkness, and ice is a place that exists within all of us; within our blood and spirit. This primordial darkness and cold are deep within our subconscious and DNA, locked deep within our memory. Our species experience of the desolate Ice Ages still haunt us to this day; recalling that sunless existence upon fields of ice. That experience has been imprinted on our genes, and our memories of that ancient darkness give us our appreciation for the light. For the light means nothing without the dark.
Isa is akin to the very slow and destructive movements of the ice upon the Earth. Ice appears still and calm, but it holds a ruinous power within. Ice is a slow and silent destructive force; one that sneaks up on you over years and years of steady, consistent movement. This consistency of movement shapes and carves the landscape around it, creating the vast arrays of mountains, valleys, and formations upon the land.
Isa is a catalyst for memories; for it changes, locks, and transports them through time. States of physical being can be trapped within this force and carried through the ages, making them discoverable and tangible; almost unchanged by hundreds or thousands of years of stagnation. With this aspect in mind, we can feel confident in using Isaz to contact other ages and eras; using it as a conductor to access the frozen layers of the past. Meditation with Isaz can be powerful and enlightening, and it must be done to remember, access, and decipher the cold and desolate parts of the psyche.
I haven’t been given a rune for this week. Instead no matter how much I ask, I get sent back to this rune: Laguz. He’s not asking for meaning or backstory or ritual. He’s just offering it’s energy.
Take a glass and fill it with water.
With your saliva draw the above rune onto the glass or in the water.
Drink the water and say
I am the stream and I trust the currents.
Do this for 7 days from today.
I’ve started this today, and despite the days chaos, of which there was more than the usual Loki gives , I felt the calming effects of the runic water.
I’m not sure what energies are at play this week, but if Odin says do this, I’ll do it.
I have been in a rut and just coming out of it. My bank was hacked, and I did not realize it until I kept receiving notifications and I could have died of embarrassment. Spells 8 did not get paid… I could not figure out why I could not post anything…what!!!
Anyway, FYI I like your attitude:
I’m not sure what energies are at play this week, but if Odin says do this, I’ll do it.
@Medea Oh my, hacked, that’s bad. Are you going to get your money back? I hope the bank fix it and make you all secure again, that’s terrible, sending a big hug, are you ok lovely
And thankyou for your kind message, yes if Odin recommends something, who am I to question why , it’ll all become clear in the right time
Yes, hopefully all of it will come back but, it is a slow process. I still am trying to figure out who got paid and who didn’t. Thank you for asking.
Once this is done, I want to buy a set of Runes I have my eyes on.
Have a wonderful day!
Blessed Be!
Lots of Love, Medea
This was so good that I am going to watch it again and I normally do not watch movies/shows/TV/ etc… over again. Thank you for my Friday night…here comes the popcorn. Blessed Be
I don’t know quite what Odin is doing here, but I trust him, so I’m going to follow this, and maybe this will help you too.
Again no more runes for next week. I’m to continue with
A rune to open you up to the guiding current through any difficult growth to enable you to transition with ease.
Here’s what he wants:
No judgement or opinions.
For one month, try not to judge or have an opinion on yourself or anyone/anything else. Just experience each day, each moment and each person. The Norse gods don’t judge, nature doesn’t judge, so let’s try it. Suspend any judgement from your life and see if the quality of your life is set free from alot of stress.
I’m going to try it. No opinions. I’ve almost finished the 7 days of the first ritual and it’s been very soothing on my soul and mind.
So now, it’s no opinions, no judgement on me, anyone else or anything. Just wake up, do your day and be in your day, whatever that is, just be.
(Better not read the news for the next month )
I forgot about that one! By the way, I now have an addiction…the videos. They are all awesome. Tracy, thank you so very much for them. It has been a very very long time since I actually sat down for more than 6 mins.
As part of the one month ritual with and learning no judgement of anything, this video is beautiful in taking your craft outside, and the importance of stepping out of our comfort zones. This is very much in line with and it’s power to help you through difficult growth. I hope you enjoy it.
Considering there’s a jar of peanut butter in the apartment, this will be impossible for me. I have a big opinion about the smell of something that makes my throat swell up, and that’s “keep it away from me!”
Jokes aside, I don’t really get it. So if I were to do this, I can’t think anything is nice, either? If I have a tasty drink, I’m meant to ignore that it’s tasty? I’m very confused about this no-opinions thing. But I’m wondering if I have to pass on it, because my recent thing is telling my partner one small joy I have each day.
