Shadow work for Anxiety

Have anyone of you tried shadow work, has it helped? What resources you used?

Shadow work is a personal thing, here is the course on Spells8 that may help.

Yes it does help but it can be a difficult process as it can drag up things in yourself you may have buried. For anxiety I use calming meditation rather than shadow work, and there’s lots on Spells8 app, search anxiety and/or meditation and you’ll get a huge choice.

Hope this helps.

Hi @KhanjanB, nice to virtually meet you! :waving_hand:t4:

I’ve done shadow work and found it to be enlightening, empowering and amazing. It is also tiring, deep, and raw…I would highly advise (at least) starting with a professional, or having some kind of support available in case you need it.

As @tracyS said, it’s a personal journey for everyone, and everyone’s experience will be different. Some people purchase or download a free shadow work journal to give them a structure and some goals, some people google it to get shadow work prompts that they can journal about, some use divination tools such as tarot, oracle, runes (elder or witch’s) etc. to ask for guidance from their spirits/deities…there are many ways. I’ve personally used tarot and oracle cards and journalling.

Start with the courses, see whether it interests you, then go from there. If by chance the guided meditations on spells8 don’t work for you, there are many apps or videos on YouTube which might help. Positive vibes for your journey!
