But, i really need some help about one simple question,
i am Portuguese, live in Portugal, and although I understand perfectly the English, i have a huge doubt about cast the spells, obviously all the content is in English (unfortunately here in Portugal i didn’t find nothing like the Spells8 site)
SO, should i translate the Spells to Portuguese???
if i translate the big problem is the Rhyme, doesn’t sound the same
Or if i said in English will work the same way??
Please advice, i really need help in this situation.
I’d like to touch on a few things in your post real quick to hopefully give you some clarification.
You asked if you should translate the spells into Portuguese and the simple answer is that it’s up to you! If you feel more comfortable casting spells and saying chants in your native language then that isn’t an issue. The words are words until you give them power and meaning.
As for for the rhymes, you can use the English spell from Spells8 as inspiration to come up with your own spell if you want it it be in Portuguese and rhyme! And lastly, no, saying the spell in English will not affect the spell at all, even if English is not your native language. As I said before, the words of the spell are just words until you give them power I hope that helps!
Welcome to the Spells8! I asked the same question a few months ago! I sometimes say mine in Latin. Feel free to ask questions here. Everyone is very friendly!
@Patricia84 hello and welcome. I’m crystal from Ohio. Pleasure to meet you. And about the spells, I agree with Megan. Say the spells in whatever language you feel comfortable with or write your own.
Hello @Patricia84, and welcome to the forum! I’m going with everyone else, write your own or translate it. The words don’t matter so much as your belief in them.
