Thank you, @Feathertip :pink_heart: Things are going alright! I’ve been very busy with work – pulling doubles sometimes (16-hour days!) because of call-outs and staffing issues. It’s good money, but it’s exhausting

I hope you’re doing well!

Your rainbow was just a partial at the 9 o’clock section of the normal rainbow arc. The clouds probably blocked the way for the rest of the arc. It’s not unusual. Just a window of sunshine in just the right area at just the right angle to catch the rain. A full rainbow is the rarity, since the full rainbow is a complete circle. Red is closest to the sun, except in double rainbows, which mirror each other.

Partial rainbows are easy to miss. I congratulate you on noticing. Most people are too busy to see or spend time with a rainbow. I know I get teased or looked at oddly (evil eye?) when I stand out in the rain with a rainbow. Many people see me before they notice the colors. That makes each rainbow I see a personal revelation, yet they are so beautiful that I want to share them, just as you did. Thank you for sharing your visit with Heimdall, Iris, or whichever deity you associate with such beauty.
