Went on a hike yesterday and the skies were wonderfully clear. The cool blue was a fun contrast to the autumn colors

These are the Sandia Mountains at sunset, tonight. We usually get this type of cloud formation in March with the winds. My favorite time is when these clouds drip and flow like a waterfall, but it’s hard to get such images. These clouds were not moving- a bit early, but the thick quilt like texture and lacy edges over the tops of the mountains is beautiful, too.
