I was inspired to write about this because I found a LARGE piece of snake shed in my flower beds. I collected it and now it sits in a jar on my altar. ![]()
The snake is one of the oldest symbols in spiritual practices. Far from being “good” or “evil” (in many traditions), the snake symbolizes transformation, wisdom, life force energy, healing, hidden knowledge, etc. When you think of a snake, remember that it doesn’t stay in one skin forever. As it grows, it sheds its skin so it can continue to expand.

Working with Snake
Energy
Snake energy works great during the waning moon. Write down a few things you want to shed, then burn the paper or bury it in the ground.
Example: Write down habits you are releasing, fears you are shedding and stories you’re ready to outgrow.
Have you worked with snake energy?
