I am one of those people that feel I have to have everything perfect when learning something new. With my practice this meant budgeting for an athame and boline that called to me. And then I rethought it - why did it have to have the athame or boline name… there are other alternatives that will cost less without being classified as a ritual tool.
Off to Amazon I went and found a beautiful, antique-looking, letter opener for my athame, and an equally beautiful folding pocket knife for my boline. Now to hope that Amazon ships super fast and delivers tomorrow.

Goodie gathering is fun. I have to keep my budget in mind so I don’t go overboard. Right now I’m so obsessed with cards that it is getting ridiculous. I am jumping over to that goodie thread.
I couldn’t tell if it was a leaf or a feather. Both are perfect symbolism for the mind and knife/sword. The athame’s heart is just firey enough, too. Beautiful choices @kelcoffee!
