Solitary Practitioner in PA

Merry Meet!

I’m so happy to have found this site and I’m learning so much. I am still new to Wicca, and I did a self initiation last month. So, though not a baby, I’m very much a baby witch. For many years I have been interested in Wicca but I was taught to be afraid of my own power and magic. I’m not afraid anymore. I feel it, and I am delighted to learn that it’s not too late for me to follow the path that’s right for me. Wicca just makes so much more sense for me on so many levels. I’m a solitary eclectic witch. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Heyyyy Doll! Welcome to the Coven Sweetie! You have done to the right place! I am a Solitary Eclectic as well :face_blowing_a_kiss::heart_eyes::smiling_face_with_three_hearts: from New Jersey! I started reading Witchy books last August. Well the tail end of August. August 26th to be exact. The day that I had my Spiritual Awakening. I started buying my Witchy Goodies last July. The last week of July. Interestingly enough, my identity got stolen that week and it lead me on the road to this beautiful path! I am so extremely grateful for it every single day! It lead me to quit my profession as an Accountant and become a Spiritual Healer. My family still tries to push me back into Accounting. I actually just applied to a bunch of Accounting jobs to make them happy last month, but I know it’s not my desired path, helping people is! I know I just have to keep up the hard work and my time will come soon! I know all too well about being afraid is what I am trying to get at here with my ramble! I was afraid too, afraid to be who I really am! I still censor myself with my family because they can’t handle the “real” me and insult me whenever I am the “real” me, bur at least the “real” me has finally come out of the Witchy Broom Closet :woman_mage:t2::hamsa::100::purple_heart::mending_heart::smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart_eyes::100:.

I love runes, I’ve been learning alot about the Elder Futhark runes. I have begun to make sigils and I cast often as I’m learning. I am also learning tarot.

The runes are great. There’s lots of courses on Spells8, just key in runes either here in the forum or on the main site page for courses.

Hi!

I’m Dan and welcome to Spells8!

You have a wonderful path and I’m sure you will find lots here to do. The coven is a very friendly place.

I study belief systems which is loosely under the Chaos umbrella. Using that guise I get to look into any shiny thing and enjoy doing so immensely.

Have fun and I hope you learn as much as I am.

Hi, @sixela! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum! :infinite_roots:

It’s great to have you here! And no, no reason to feel afraid of your magic or breaking out of the crowd. So much of the world seems to encourage conformity; we like to celebrate our differences! I used to call myself a Solitary Eclectic Wiccan, but I’m in the middle of changing, I think, so I’m not sure what I am right now. A Solitary Eclectic with touches of Folk Magic, Chaos, and Irish Magic, maybe? Witch it is! LOL!

Anyhow, I hope you feel comfortable here. If you have any questions or need assistance, please ask, and someone will be happy to help. I look forward to getting to know you!

Greetings @sixela and welcome!

My name is Kat, and I started practicing the craft in 1993. I practice nature magick with a bioregional focus, working closely with the natural world and drawing inspiration from plant and animal spirits. I’m drawn to herbalism, gardening, and various forms of divination - tarot, throwing bones, lenormand, and ogham.

There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!

We’re glad to have you here. :purple_heart: Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!
