Dad kept this lovely thing in with Oscars who are also aggressive. toward other fish, You had to keep the tank covered or they were liable to jump out. I would put my hand in the tank and it would rub against my hand like a cat.
Eventually they got too big and became too much care, so dad reluctantly parted with his friends
