Iām still reading the Celtic Gods and Goddesses. I wish I had seen this earlier this month, I would have been a more avid reader the past couple of weeks.
Iāve read mine cover to cover and have been using it several times a day! Iāve put sticky notes ALL over it with spell/potion ideas, quick page finders, shopping listsā¦ Iām obsessed!
You go, @Limeberry! Iām so glad you found such a great book- canāt wait to hear what you thought about it
As for @MeganB, @Susurrus, and @Colin- no worries at all! Itās a busy time of year with the holidays, Yule, and lots of winter excitement.
After some thought, Iāve decided to extend the deadline for this reading session. This session will now close on:
Friday, December 11th
So no stress and no rush- reading is supposed to be fun and relaxing! Take another week to get through as much of your books as you can
Happy reading!
Cool beans! Iām almost finished with this book, but itās nice to have a bit of extra time. Thanks!
Oh thank you so, so much <3
I am so happy to be able to participate! I chose the Complete Book of Witchcraft because Iāve been wanting to read it for some time, and I finally found the free pdf.
Also, I donāt plan on reading all of it by the 11th, my aim is to read up until chapter 6 or 7!
Have a joyful reading session all of you
Thank you so much. Iām going to do some more reading this week. Iām working on getting my things done early on so I have the end of the week to do what I wish and be comfortable doing it.
Way to go @Amethyst! Good luck with finishing it up- I hope itās been a fun read for you
No worries at all, @MeganB- Iām in the same boat! Itās a busy time of year for sure.
It sounds like an exciting book, @Queenofdisasters- I hope you enjoy it! Take your time and read as much or as little as youād like. Iām looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it!
Great plan, @Susurrus! Youāre very welcome- have fun with your reading and I hope your book brings you much joy and new knowledge
Hi! I also couldnāt figure out the wiki postā¦ here is my book āEarth Powerā by Scott Cunningham
The extra time is great! Iām on Chapter 15 in mine, loving it so far!
Itās been very good, a bit basic for me but a good book. Thanks, hon!
No worries at all, @Nadialuna! Iāve added you to the list- enjoy Earth Power!
Hooray! You go, @Rowan! So happy to hear youāre loving it
This book isnāt quite as mind-blowing as the last one with quantum physics, @Amethyst? Hahaha good! Iām glad youāre enjoying reading it
Nope, easily able to read it, which makes it all the more fun to read. The hamster in my brain wheel canāt take that physics stuff. Too much! LOL.
I love this mental image! My brain-hamster thinks the same- no mind-exploding math or physics allowed in here either!
For me reading is definitely about learning- but itās also about having some relaxing time to recharge at the end of the day.I agree- things that are easy to read make for a more enjoyable experience
Thank you so much for the extension. I needed it.
You are very welcome, @colin! I hope you are enjoying your book so far
Thanks TravelWitch, I just finished my book yesterday. It was a pretty good read and quite a bit of care seemingly went into its making. A large portion of the book is magickal recipes, which is exactly what I need more of so Iām glad I found it. There has to be at least 4 or 5 money spells in there I would love to try sometime, although I need to get the ingredients together. Lotās of healing and banishment spells too!
It sounds amazing, @colin! You found a real treasure trove of knowledge. And as the money spell master, it looks like youāve got a big boost of inspiration for your craft
The reading period ends on Friday so if youād like, I hope youāll share a few tips or even a spell or two that you learned about! It really sounds like a book worth learning more about
I added my name to the list but it wonāt let me add the (@) before my name. Something about a 10 mentions per post limit.
In the past month I have finished the first book, Karma, in the Happiness in Your Life Series. And I finished the second one, Intuition, yesterday. (This is a big deal because I couldnāt read at all after the Labor Day weekend - means I am getting better. ) I canāt wait to share the review and discuss in soon.
I just added the (@) for your name- thanks for pointing that out, @praecog29! Weāll summon technology master @Francisco for this one- perhaps there is a way to change the mention limit in wiki posts so that anyone can continue to add after 10 users?
Congrats on your finished books- that is so exciting, Benjamin! I imagine it feels very good to get back into doing something you love after not being able to do it for a while. I am also really looking forward to reading your thoughts about it!
