Aww that’s a bummer. Is there any way you can adapt the rituals for indoor use? That would be awesome!

I’m about halfway through but haven’t read in a little while. I think I should grab the book every time I spend time with Newt (formerly named Kinkajou) in his room or out on the screened porch.

I’m really enjoying the book and it’s opened my eyes to… I don’t know how to describe it. It’s not a new path, but one that I’ve been following all along and didn’t realize until now. It’s honestly reshaping or perhaps redefining what I believe and how I practice.

I will say I’ve run into a bit of a bump in the road with the Witchfather, but the author himself in a blog post says it’s a dividing idea even within Traditional Witchcraft. I’m reading, and researching to make an informed choice but so far it’s the only concept that doesn’t resonate well with me.

I both love and hate when a book does this to me :joy: It’s like… I have things that need explaining but can’t find the words to do it, which for me just makes it more difficult to understand myself! I’m glad you’re enjoying the book, though!

Some of them, but a lot are of like looking at the stars, or going walking in a forest. Things I wish I could do, but nope. Even if I could go out at night here, there’s too much ambient light. I’d not see anything out in the sky. I’d have to get away from town. But they are beautiful little rituals!

Aww, well I hope you still get some benefit from the book

There are a few rituals I can use, and it’s a lovely book. I’m sure someone from the forum will love it!

I’m continuing my read of Energy Magic. I didn’t get through much of it last book club session. So I’m playing ā€œcatch-upā€. Reading time is hard to get right now!

I fully understand that :joy: I’m only on page 30-something in my book for the same reason. School has me wiped out!

Christian Witchcraft is amazing. But I’ve taken an academic reading break, but am reading a witchy book.

Mallory Vale and the Curse of Maggoty Skull by Martin Howard. It’s about a girl who can see ghosts and her psychic aunt. A kids book but it’s great. Nice fun light read.

It sounds like a good read! I totally get taking a break from academic reading  that’s partly why I’m reading fiction, too - I’m already reading academically for school!
