What’s the difference between the free version of spells8 and the monthly subscription? What features am I missing?

Great question! While the site and forum are funded by memberships (we wouldn’t be able to exist without them!), we do try to still offer lots of free content that anyone can access. The free parts of Spells8 include several of the introductory Courses, the weekly Spells8 email newsletter, some printable pages (such as the yearly pagan calendars), and several categories here in the forum.
As a thank you to those who choose to support Spells8, a membership grants access to a large collection of additional content. This includes a greater assortment of printable pages, all of the Courses, and many more spells. It also unlocks parts of the forum that are kept private for the coven, such as A Sacred Space and Energy Exchange. These more personal spaces host coven events such as weekly group rituals, divination draws, and sometimes even live virtual meetups. Additionally, a membership grants commenting powers to enable participation in open forum discussions, asking magickal questions, getting spell feedback, and/or joining coven activities.
If you’re interested in sampling the membership content just to check it out, the first 14 days after signing up are free. There are also often discount codes listed on the main site (scroll to the bottom of the main page!) and memberships can be cancelled anytime as needed.
