Have you practice standing meditation? I know most people, when they think meditation – it’s sitting and repeating the “om” sound – that is not case! Meditation can be and IS so much more than that.

I may have to start as I’m dealing with a hip injury that is aggravated by sitting cross legged.

I’m sorry to hear about your hip injury, @catherine11- a standing or walking meditation would be a good alternative to sitting! I hope it works well for you. Good luck and happy meditating!

This is an excellent point! Mediation is about mind and awareness so standing is an option. Walking mediation is also a great choice if you have difficulty sitting or just need to move/dispel energy.
