Stocking up on supplies at the end of oct / early nov?

This is the time of year that folks try to “stock up” on witchy things that go on sale. What kinds of things does everyone else try to seek out this time of year at a great bargain? I’ve grabbed a number of black “7-day” candles from the dollar store at $1 each.

I have been good this year and haven’t bought hardly any Halloween stuff. I’m saving my money and going the day after Halloween. All the good stuff may be gone by then though. We shall see!

Here’s to a happy haul- o- ween! :witch_moon: Don’t over pack your broom, though, or you’ll be sweeping the ground all the way home! Boo knows what else you might end up with.

Good luck! LOL Some of the book items I saw online I double checked on Amazon and they WERE WAAAAYYY cheaper! So double check there and other stores just to make sure your “deal” is actually a “deal” for you! :stuck_out_tongue:

Ohhhh there’s actually a reason for this  In case anyone wants to know, it’s because Amazon purposefully undercuts the prices of their books. They take a loss on their book profits on purpose because they know they can make those profits up elsewhere. This is why self-published books sometimes seem more expensive because those prices are set by the author, not Amazon or a publisher.

I changed my mind about buying more stuff. I have too much stuff. My witch room is over flowing to the rest of the house it is!

Sorry @shelly1 ! We kinda took over your thread. No offense intended.

I buy Alpine brand spiced cider powder packets this time of year. They keep well and are easy to make for brews and healing potions, but they are seasonal.

Fall leaf decorations can be used to write out gratitude or wishes. Watch what they are made of if you want to burn them later.

I used to find mini bottles of powdered candy or Pixie Stix at the dollar stores. They were great for potions. Just focus intention, make a wish, and eat the candy. You’d be making the wish part of you by consuming the candy, making it easier to manifest in your life.

Basically, go down the aisles and use your imagination, this year. If you notice something you want to use after the season, make a note of it for next year.
