This past week my orange cat has been sleeping by my head. As he is there I have had strange dreams.
Night 1 I woke up to is paws touching my head, I got onto him as I felt he was casting spells on me while I slept. I don’t know the spell or spells he was casting. The next night I dreamed I was doing clearing and banishing work on my property. Then last night I woke in the middle of creating a Sigel. I can see it in my mind but having a hard time drawing it.
Is this normal? I mean for cats to cast and do magic and try to share or involve you while you sleep?
I do feel like we have been working hard as I am overly tired in the morning and have new scratches I don’t recall.
I am also curious if cats can mess up stuff when they push everything off your alter. While rubbing their face all over everything?
So sorry about the new scratches and feeling tired in the morning. Otherwise, sure, cats can cast. When they rub their faces on the altar items, they are adding their energies to your working- out of care for you. Just be careful of lit candles and herbs which can harm them.
Our pets are a tremendous aid and stabilizing force to our spirituality
IF your cat is casting anything, it’s to protect or guide you only. I believe that’s why you dreamt you were clearing and banishing
There may be a protection you need to put around yourself, your cat and your property
Blessings
There’s just something about those floofy orange cats, they’re always up to something! In another online community “was it an orange?” has become somewhat of a catchphrase. One moment you might wonder if they have even half a brain, and another you’ll find them doing something incredibly clever. When they’re not snoozing adorably, that is
I’ve been thinking… How old is your beautiful orange boy? If he is young, he might not have learned to control his claws in his own dreams as yet, giving rise to your new scratches. Just a thought.
I have seen some kitties sleeping with their claws out… And from what science has learned about sleep, sleep paralysis, and things like sleepwalking, when we move around in the dream world, our body would do all the same physical things as when awake. Same goes for cats too. Usually the signals to move the body are interrupted, but some can get through. Some cats ekekkek in their dreams, others might use their claws.
If I touch him he’ll start making biscuits and purring as loud as possible in my ear. He is around 4 now. He was a patient who has never left. He was suffering from chronic sinus infections. He is better now but he usually doesn’t sleep with me as he is loud snoring. When he does it’s usually because he’s unable to breath well and I get to force medication down his throat and in his nose. Not fun for either of us. Probably more info than you wanted.
Not at all. Sweet baby boy! You are brave and kind keeping him with all his medical needs. I’m sure he appreciates the work you do.
Poor sweetie I have some personal experience with breathing difficulties, it can be terrifying, especially if you don’t know what’s going on
I’m glad that you’re there to take care of him.
