Sunset Hike in New Hampshire

Just wanted to share a few photos I snapped on our very first night time hike!
It was SO amazing! It was SO dark on the way down though, I was a bit nervous as we have bear and such here in NH! But we were well equipped.

We had headlamps and flashlights so we could see perfectly fine - we did turn them all off for a brief moment to see the stars and the planets. It was an amazing sight! Very cold, got down to 45 degrees! lol. We dressed appropriately so everything went perfect.

When we got to the top we had about 2 hours before sunset, so we packed dinner and had a drink!

The hike was 5.7 miles and our elevation gained was about 1,400 ft.

Gads what beautiful pictures! That must have been so special, watching the horizon as the sun went down and the night came in. Wow.
