I’m Super excited,
Greetings from the heart of Virginia! My name is Joey, and I write to you as a new witch walking the path with intention, humility, and deep reverence for the Craft. Having recently rooted myself in this beautiful state, I’m reaching out to introduce myself to the local community and kindred spirits who honor magic, nature, and the unseen.
My practice is an evolving blend of folk magic, Wicca, green witchcraft, ancestral spell casting and Crystal work shaped by years of study, quiet intuition, and a lifelong connection to the natural world. I believe in the power of community, shared wisdom, and the sacred responsibility that comes with working magic.
I would love to connect with others—whether for seasonal gatherings, study circles, or simple cups of tea and conversation under the moonlight. If you’re part of a coven, circle, or simply walking this path solo but open-hearted, I would be honored to hear from you.
Welcome, Joey!
We’re so glad to have you here! Your excitement is contagious, and we can already tell you’ll be a great addition to the group. Yes, you’re right—there are some incredibly talented and experienced spell casters here, and we’re all about learning, sharing, and growing together.
Feel free to ask questions, share your experiences, and dive right in. We’re looking forward to seeing your journey unfold!
Hi, @joey! I’m Amethyst from Southern West Virginia. Welcome to the forum!
I hate it that we’re probably too far to meet up, but this group is wonderful for chatting and giving you a feeling of community. I’ve got a feeling you’re going to fit right in since you’re enthusiastic!
Keep an eye open for a post tomorrow for the Group Ritual. It’s a thing we do every Thursday where we all have tea on our own but with a theme and then post and chat about it and other things in our lives. That’ll give you a good chance to get to know people!
If you have any questions, just ask and someone will pop up to give you a hand. I look forward to getting to know you!
Welcome! I’m Bry, an Eclectic Witch and one of the forum moderators. It’s very nice to meet you
I’m happy to say you’ve come to a great spot for connecting! The roots of the coven community spread all across the globe - so while we don’t currently have in-person meetups due to the distance, we do have online activities and get-togethers. From weekly tea rituals to Magickal Study Buddies, Book Club, and a monthly live chat session hosted by @MeganB, there are options for connecting in ways that call to you
My name is Kat, and I’ve been practicing the craft for over 30 years. My practice is rooted in a blend of nature magick, green magick, and elements of hedgecraft. I work closely with the natural world, drawing inspiration from plant spirits, animal spirits, and liminal spaces. My interests include herbalism, gardening, and divinatory practices like tarot, throwing bones, and Lenormand.
There is a wonderful search function that will help you dig for more information in the forums!
We’re glad to have you here. Make yourself comfortable, explore, and feel free to ask questions!
Welcome @joey ! It’s great to have you with us! I’m from Minnesota and have been practicing many different aspects of the craft for 35+ years. I currently work with voodoo and divination and am studying enochian magick.
This is a fabulous coven and a great place for learning and growing. I look forward to learning and growing from and with you.
I think of myself as a novice and a new witch considering the fact that there’s always something new to learn no matter how much research I’ve done
Since I was a little one I’ve been studying the religions and history of magical practices.
I myself have just started doing spell work in the past few years.
Even though I’m very versed in the historical and religious aspects I’m still a novice when it comes to spell work.
