Tarot game by FaeSight Tarot

What’s up y’all?

This is literally my 3rd time trying to make this post because for some reason, my drafts are not saving!

Anyways, a few days ago, I posted a video by FaeSight Tarot where she explained a game to play with your tarot deck!

So, I figured I’d do that, and play a little solo game. How you play is:

Shuffle your deck. Flip a card. That card is the job description. What job do you think it could be just from the cards description?

Draw X amount of cards (her example she pulled 3 cards)

And those cards are the potential employees attributes and personal gains/flaws.

Then you decide if they’re qualified for the job.

Okay here we go, here’s what I got:

Job : the devil rx

Is it Fae making mischief as your post is about FaeSight tarot

Well, now that could be an interesting job  let me see. A high stakes, corporate job that gives big returns but has big demands - after all the Devil Wears Prada. So Executive, Computer programmer maybe? :person_shrugging:

I pulled: The Empress.

 Councillor/therapist/ carer maybe? Interesting I’m in Health and Social Care - funny that.

I love that! No wonder you’re so good at what you do within your spiritual work! Tell me more about your job! I’m so fascinated by the mind and how people make their clocks go tick tock

My clock ticks backwards  it’s chaos. I’m a support worker in care, I help people with finances, their legal rights, accessing health care and housing, mental health support and just being someone they can talk too, it’s a fabulous job.

This is fun. Can’t wait to see other witches cards. Thanks :green_heart:

By the way, the cards I chose were just “pretend” to try to get to know the cards better! But I do like your approach! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Looks fun, let’s see what I get…

The Emperor, that’s already a job, isn’t it? Running an empire seems like a lot of work :joy: Let’s see what our candidates look like!

First up we’ve got The Star!

She can walk on water and make rainbows and pretty constellations appear out of nowhere, and give you hope when it feels all hope is lost. She seems like someone you’d actually want to follow. There’s a risk of broken, empty promises, but isn’t that just the case for any leader, democratically elected or otherwise. She might just follow through with them after all, and that puts her, quite literally, above others. But let’s see the other two…

Four of Cups

Apathy is the name of this one’s game. If you don’t do anything, you don’t make any mistakes, right? Or maybe she’s already sampled all the delights that come as perks of the job, and is just bored out of her mind? Not the worst option, she wouldn’t be remembered for any atrocities, but then, she wouldn’t be remembered for much else either.

Our last candidate is always so dramatic Three of Swords!

She’s been hurt, she’s in agony, and now she’s in power. Need I say more? There just might be hell to pay, for whoever wronged her, their family, and the horse they rode in with. If you want some more excitement, raw emotion and possibly blood, a solid option.

I was a play. But have to wait until I get home. My main deck is at my lake house, 2 at my beach house and 2 are packed in our truck that I can’t get to right now.
I put this on so I can come back here and not lose the topic. Lol

Uh-oh! There was a big forum update over the weekend, so it could be things settling in. Or perhaps TricksterShaman is right and the Fae are afoot! :fairy:

Another good way to make sure you can find your way back is to use the handy Bookmark feature! It lets you mark a page and/or post. You can even set a timer so the forum will remind you about it in the future

It’s a fun way to work with tarot card interpretations! I’m loving the ones folks have shared so far. Very creative! Thank you for sharing about the game

Okay, here’s mine.
4 of Wands: I’m the person who provides the structure and stability.
Organizer → keeper of the vision → creating the environment everyone works in.
Yes, I do that.

Employees:
Page of Swords: The enthusiastic apprentice who wants to learn everything.
Downside: inexperience, needs mentoring.

Wheel of Fortune: This person might actually be good at running with opportunities as they arise. Adapts to change, expansion, and opportunity.
Moves things forward and capitalizes on change.
Downside: unsteady, unpredictable, inconsistent.

I’ve been thinking for years of starting my own business. I’m currently and until I retire working in IT, Systems Admin.
