I fell off this so fast. Well, I’ve been doing four tarot readings a day recently, so… why not add some more tarot things while I’m on a roll?
Interesting that the first card I drew was a ten, the second a nine, and now we have an eight.

This may be useful to me, which, tarot or runes, to apply this? Also do I put this here or in dream thread?
Maybe half and half.
I know what the calling is, and will decide if this is what I want after stage one of the course starting in April. I know what I want (nice Norse Mysticism ) but spirit is heading in a different direction as we know, and Megans reading was I need to listen (yes I know
).
In spirit connection, reading, learning, yes because I’m being kicked this way
In listening to where I’m being led for sure
It’s due to start in April, more tea and cake for the dead
I have no idea
I’ll plonk the dream in the dream thread. After work I’ll do a reading on the above questions and probably get a whopping great kick up the arse
Ooh, good idea. Can you believe I never thought to answer them myself here?
I’m so lost…
The spiritual tug-of-war over who gets Tracy’s attention continues.
Perhaps finding ways not to let the demands of spirits tire you out too much? They seem to want a lot.

Good advice, difficult to apply but since when was anything worth pursuing easy , more Rum anyone?

since when was anything worth pursuing easy
So true.
I’ll have some rum!

- Reflecting on my craft or chosen field, what specific skills do I feel most drawn to improve, and why?
Prioritising. Definitely prioritising things better and breaking things down into smaller goals.

- How have I demonstrated diligence and dedication in my work or personal projects recently, and what impact has this had on my progress?
I’m not sure how I have, but the impact has been increased resilience and confidence. I’ve been able to protect my energy a lot better.
And in terms of work, I got a payrise, so that much mean something good. I think!

- In what areas of my life do I find it challenging to maintain discipline, and how can I address these challenges?
This forum is probably my biggest weakness at the moment. I need to make sure I don’t worry about keeping up to date and just contribute when I can.

- How have I adapted to unexpected changes or obstacles in my path, and what have I learned from these experiences?
I’ve been learning to lean on the support of others when things get quite bad. It’s brought me closer to those around me and helped me attain a greater sense of confidence in my ability to navigate life.

- What commitments have I made to myself regarding my personal or professional growth, and how am I upholding these commitments?
Never stop learning!
I’m setting aside two hours a day for personal development.

- How does my dedication to my craft or career align with my overall life values, and in what ways can I further deepen this alignment?
My life values are around constantly improving myself, focusing on fulfilment over happiness, constant curiosity and learning while avoiding ignorance, trying to look at things differently, using my knowledge to find avenues for change for the better, and standing up for what I believe is right despite the potential costs.
You can imagine the increased confidence, management of my energy (especially around people), constant learning, using these skills to help guide others, and so on really meshes well.
To further deepen it… I think I’ll find the answer in more learning.

Prioritising.
Is this even possible! Working with you on that same thing

been able to protect my energy a lot better.
That’s fabulous and so important

, I got a payrise,
Well done you

probably my biggest weakness
Same

Aww I’m really happy for you, this is so nice

Good idea, may I steal it (though with 3 young adults aka kids, maybe 1 hour for me )

using these skills to help guide others, a
You definitely do this.
Lovely to read this. This is a good spot to share our progresses.

Is this even possible!
No. But I have to try.

may I steal it
It ain’t stealing when I’m actively sharing it.

You definitely do this.
Aww! Thank you. That means a lot to me.

How can I better adapt to challenges and changes in my environment?
I’ve done everything I know to attempt to adapt. It seems to be requiring something new of me. I’m not sure what to do or how anymore.

What project or goal am I currently most committed to, and why?
If I don’t find some form of self sufficiency or independence, I will not survive. It’s that simple.

How have I adapted to unexpected changes or obstacles in my path, and what have I learned from these experiences?
I haven’t yet. It is upsetting to me because I am not as stupid as I seem right now, yet all I can see is a tarot card telling me to be patient.
I cannot answer the rest of the questions at this time. Time is not the issue. I’m just too close to the trees to see the forest. Maybe I am inspecting the path with a magnifying glass, and all I need to do is stand up and look around, but I seem to have forgotten how.

Sending a big hug, maybe this thread will help us to see the light rays, no matter how thin, through the trees.

It’s also possible that the questions aren’t relevant to your stage in your life.
It’s nothing to do with you. You’re just in a terrible situation that you can’t “think differently” and miraculously find a way out of. Nothing you’re doing wrong.

Thank you.
Too many people say we cause our own experiences without thinking about the unavoidable occasional wave of negativity which can still drown us, even if we didn’t have a hand in causing it. Maybe that’s why I fight so hard to clean up the mess- if I’m not part of the solution, I feel like I’m part of the problem. It’s not healthy for a beginner empath, but it’s what I can offer for the betterment of my own environment, for the good of all.

Those people have a lot to learn about the world yet. There are many things outside of our control that we are subjected to, that we cannot simply wish away. Don’t mind them.
You are a beautiful soul, and there’s no need to be so hard on yourself. You can strive for the bettering of your environment, for the good of all, without those heavy burdens and expectations.

I am hearing an echo of something similar I told a friend of mine just a couple of days ago. Thank you. It looks like I need to take my own advice.
I asked my partner earlier what their favourite tarot card from my deck is, and they said Death. (They know the cards somewhat well because they were the ones who sat down and transcribed all my handwritten notes onto the computer. They remembered all the notes about the ending of cycles and stuff and said they liked the imagery, too.)
As a result, I’ve picked Death to do next!
Death
Wednesday, 5 June 2024
Death is associated with transformation and, therefore, is one of the most beautiful cards in the entire tarot deck. It asks us to accept changes and evolution, especially if they are painful or hard-won. It cuts at the root of excuses and extrapolations, constantly pushing us to become better versions of ourselves. It represents the cycles of Death and Rebirth that surround us in all avenues of our lives.

Since slowing down my shop, I don’t do tarot readings as regularly as I used to, so these probably aren’t as good as the ones before. And there’s some repetition in the questions… But here they are.
Tarot
- What transformation is currently unfolding in my life that I must accept and embrace?
- What part of my life needs to be “reaped” to make room for new growth?
- What hidden opportunities lie within the endings I am experiencing?
- What old habits or beliefs keep me from my potential growth?
Affirmations
- I embrace change and transformation as a natural part of my life’s journey.
- I release what no longer serves me to make space for new opportunities.
- I face change with courage and an open heart, knowing it leads to growth.
Journalling
- What transformations have I experienced recently, and how have they impacted me?
- What aspects of my life need to be let go for me to move forward?
- How can I better prepare myself for the inevitable changes in life?
- In what ways can I celebrate new beginnings in my life?
- What lessons have I learned from past endings that can help me now?
- How can I integrate the concept of perpetual endings and beginnings into my daily life?

I don’t do tarot readings as regularly as I used to, so these probably aren’t as good as the ones before.
Objection! Even if you don’t do readings as frequently as you did before, you still carry everything you learned on the journey - they’re just as wonderful as always

I release what no longer serves me to make space for new opportunities.
The Death card aligns really well with the new moon (which has been living in my mind rent free for the past week or so ) - these are very helpful questions, aiffmrations, and journal prompts for right now, Katerina!
Thank you so much for sharing them I love these tarot deep-dives of yours

Objection!
I agree with this objection!
The Death Card is one of my favorite cards and I love the prompts and stuff you created to go along with it!

What transformations have I experienced recently, and how have they impacted me?
I was taught from a very young age that the only way to live is self sufficiency and independence. Do not ask for something because you’ll have to wait for the one you asked to get it for you.
This lesson has bitten the dust, lately. It was hard to release, but now that it is far enough away to see it for what it was, I’m glad to see it go.
-
The lesson was not mine to begin with.
-
It came from someone who may have been seeing through a veil of her own rather than seeing clearly the Truth of the matter.
-
I have no clue where the idea started or under what circumstances, so it could have morphed from something specific to a generalization which is no longer appropriate.
-
I see that I had such trouble with the release that it would make aging and illness harder in the long run.
I choose to live with what I am learning and see if it works for me.
