Upright:
Nightmares and bad nerves.
Anguish. Wake up worrying.
Mental health issues.
Reversed:
Despair, guilt, trapped.
The darkest part of the night.
Then the Wheel will turn.

Another dark card with some not-so-happy meanings. When it appears in a reading for the future, I’d interpret this one as a warning. And when drawn for a reading on current issues, I think the Nine of Swords calls up things you likely already know about and points to some difficult but much-needed Shadow Work.
But, as always, there’s that little ray of hope at the end- the Wheel turns onwards and hey, perhaps it can only go up from here!
Beautifully written as always, @Amethyst! You do such a great job with these!
Thanks, hon! I had to give some hope to my poem. Otherwise, it would be all Gloom, Despair, and Agony on me. LOL!
Oh no, we can’t have that! There’s certainly more than enough doom and gloom out there- a little touch of happiness and hope is always greatly appreciated!
I love it! Adding it now!!! Thanks love!!
Thank YOU! Glad you liked it!
