Tarot pull

What’s up y’all?

I believe they have a space here for the daily tarot pulls, where we can show and tell what cards we pull for ourselves; I couldve sworn I seen that somewhere on here, but I trust @BryWisteria will place my article in its rightful home.

I pulled some cards last night just to see how my life is headed.

I pulled all upright cards.

Death

Knight of wands

Queen of swords

Judgement.

Can y’all tell me what y’all get from this? I feel like it’s something good… But I can’t put my finger on it

Hi @SuckOnMySunshine!

There are two current tarot draw spaces where folks can share their tarot draws: the Tarot Talks focuses on daily prompts and the Coven Draw is for collective readings - but it’s also totally fine to do a personal draw and share it on it’s own! Replies tend to get buried quickly in discussions, so I’ve found the best way to call on the coven’s wisdom to get help with an interpretation is to do just what you’ve done: make a new post. All that is to say, it’s perfect where it is!

Two major arcana cards and two court cards are a lot of strong forces on the table! You have transformative Death (a card I deeply associate with the current season and the upcoming Sabbat Samhain), a knight bringing passion, a queen bringing inner mental stability and wisdom, and the steady hand of Judgement concluding the case.

One way to read court cards is as prominent figures (often people, but could be organizations, communities, deities, or other forces) - so as part of your interpretation I’d ask if perhaps these two court cards (Knight and Queen) represent specific people or things to you. Overall, it looks like big changes are coming and while there may be some trial and tests (Judgement), the overall energy is moving toward peace, justice, and stability. Just my thoughts on the table! I hope they help you form your interpretation of your cards.

Blessed be

On point! May I just throw in there, that Death is also telling you that a cycle has been completed. So, if you were working on a project, going through a cycle of growth (or the opposite: a cycle of depression etc.) in your general life or relationship etc. this card suggests that this cycle is finding its natural close and a new cycle is going to begin. This can come with feelings of insecurity or disorientation which entail all the transitions in our life.

With the Swords and Wands, your spread includes the elements of Air
(representing thoughts, communication, and truth, but also doubt, overthinking, and rational harshness)
and Fire (representing energy, motivation, creativity, a spirit of enterprise, and a burning passion for a cause). When such cards appear side by side, they often reveal a conflict between desire and intellect: the mind holds back the energy, or the drive to act races ahead of rational concerns. You might want to take a moment to check whether your head and heart are in alignment regarding your upcoming plans and endeavors.

It makes a great deal of sense for the Judgement card to appear at the end, serving as a counterpart to the first card! For while the first card alerts you that something is drawing to a close, Judgement calls for spiritual awakening and opens up new paths. It is important to reflect on the cycle that has passed—to forgive where necessary and heal where possible.

Magickal Monday Morning Bry,

Yes, I was thinking the same about the cards, but could not put it into words. Excellent explanation Bry, I am with you!

I follow Kat also, the Death card is a profound ending of something, Knight of Wands shows enthusiasm and Queen of Swords clarity. I read this as something coming to an end in which you may feel an immediate need for action, but I see the Queen telling you to slow down and look at things clearly, and then the Judgment card shows that you WILL be able to move on (with clarity of thought and proper action–the Q and Kn.)

Just my interpretation. But as always, you are the only one who knows how this fits into your situation.
