The constellation Orion

What does the constellation Orion hold? I have always seen it and would focus upon it when out night year round. I never could understand why I would feel a pull to it and focus upon it when outside. Being at the eastern US and the Northern Hemisphere, Orion is visible year round unlike some of the other constellations. I was born under the Capricorn sign and it didn’t really make sense. Although I was 2 months premature. I have lost what I have learned most likely due to seizures and medications, but I still feel the pull when out at night. Thank you for reading and blessed be to all

Freaky Friday Shannon,

Neither here nor there. I don’t have an answer to your question, but my Jr. High Mascot….we were the Wm. E. Orr Orions  Lady Gene :night_with_stars:

Not quite sure what you mean by the question. In the belt area are a couple of nebulae.

If Orion were looking at you, under his right arm is the constellation of monoceros, which always attracted me (unicorn lover). Just below his feet is the nearest star to Earth, called dog star as part of the hunter image with two dogs, and is also where the sun is positioned during the “dog days” of summer (August- my birth month).

Orion is known as the most familiar constellation.

Google Search states that Orion is home to some Starseeds

Does any of this help?

Eager to learn more!

I’ve always been drawn to it because it’s just so recognizable, and as you say, in the US we pretty much see it year round. I never really thought about whether it has any spiritual significance or not, but you question made me Google it and I found this:

I’m glad you liked it - I found it very interesting too. I was actually looking at Orion directly over my house last night and thought about this information that I had found. Thanks for prompting me to search for it!
