The day she saved the world

Thought I’d post this for fun.

She stood at the precipice of the escarpment.

Wearing a long white gown and velvet cape.

She held the Phoenix wand, her birthright.

She look at the world that lay before her.

Earthquakes threatening to carve continents.

Hurricanes pummeling the land.

Tidal waves washing away villages.

And wild fires destroying the flora

With a secretive smile she said

This is why I was born.

Lighting a white candle she called

I call upon the element Earth

And was answered .

“You are the earth.”

Lighting a white candle she called

I call upon the element Air.

And was answered.

“You are the air.”

Lighting a white candle she called

I call upon the element water

And was answered

You are the water,

Lighting a white candle she called

I call upon the element fire.

“You are the fire.”

Earth!

Hold your ire before you pull the planet apart.

Stop the quakes, and irritating the volcanoes.

You heave the planets plates and the tilde waves

Create havoc. Just Stop.

Water!

You will wash away all life. Stop.

Better use your emotional out burst to help

quench the fires on the land with rain.

Fire!

Calm yourself, stop before the Mother comes and

takes you to task.

There are lands in the north who

you can bless with your flame. Stop climate changes.

Air!

What are you thinking. You whip water into

terrible waves and destruction. Better to handle volcanic

smoke, get rid of it.. Fire has made a mess and the cleanup with be monumental.

Have I, the guardian made myself clear?

You can grumble all want. But if you don’t settle down, Goddess will obliterate the entire planet

This is your only warning.

As above, so below

As I have spoken, let it be so

Her robes blew around her, then the wind became a gentle zephyr and her robes fell into place and were still.

The earth still trembled but the shaking stopped.

The rains squelched the fires without deluge.

“Sometimes they’re like three year old human children.”

Earth, fire, water and air,

you have saved your world.

Again
