As you explore around the forum today, you may find yourself thinking that things seem a bit different. No worries, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you - the forum just got a shiny new update 
Some of the text and buttons may appear slightly different, but aesthetics aside, they should be working the same as always 
The biggest change is a user experience enhancement feature for the text box called the “rich text editor”. Previously, anyone using certain HTML code (such as bold, italics, headings, etc) would type out the code and trust the process. Now, with the new update, the text box will immediately display how certain stylized text will appear right in the text box. This way, you can make sure it all looks good before you post it!
Here is how things look in the rich text editor:
See how text shows up as bold in the text box? Additionally, you can see the HTML marked more clearly.
A note that only certain codes will show up in the text box. Some features may work a little differently than how they did before (such as the “Read More” feature, which requires the user to click the black arrow to open the dropdown box to enter the hidden text).
Have fun playing around and experimenting with the new features in the rich text editor! If you prefer the old text editor, no fear - you can go back to using the previous text editor (see first comment below).
