I was putting on striped socks today and it reminded me of why I started wearing striped socks when I was a child. It was because I LOVED “Dorrie.”
Anyone else remember Dorrie the Little Witch series of books by Patricia Coombs? I also had The Little Witch’s Black Magic Cookbook by Linda Glovach. (No black magic involved, just lots of peanut butter!) And who can forget the surf-board-riding Tilly Witch? by Don Freeman?
Just wondered if anybody else remembers reading these 
I didn’t read these books but I was obsessed with The Worst Witch books and TV Series 
Oooh I found this series on Netflix! I’m definitely watching this 
The one on Netflix is a modern remake, but it’s not bad. The one I used to watch started in 1998… In retrospect I was probably older than the intended audience as I was 16 in 1998

Yes, I loved Dorrie!!! Oh wow I forgot about this show!! 
I feel like I missed out on something. I don’t remember any of these shows! No fair! The most I had was Willow on Buffy and she went all Special Girl and got addicted to magic.
I knew I was a witch when I kept kissing frogs and all I got was Warts.
