Hello witchy sisters and brothers! Hope you all are living your best lives out there in the world
As for me, I’m currently getting ready to have surgery soon so it’s been a very busy time here getting the family and our home ready for the change that will come with that. I have been becoming pretty anxious about this. My dreams have been pretty intense, but unfortunately I can’t ever remember them long enough to record them in my journal. And the strangest thing has been happening… upon waking my whole body is vibrating from the inside out!! This has happened in the past maybe 2 or 3 times, but lately its been at least once a night I wake from a very surreal or lucid dream to my body vibrating!! Any thoughts on this? I sometimes wish there was a way to video record my dreams. Who knows, maybe they could explain this weird phenomenon thats been happening to me!
How strange and upsetting! I am sorry that this is happening to you and causing you so much distress. While I don’t know what could be happening, I did look and see if I could find any information.

It does seem like the common thread is anxiety so this might be connected to your case as well. As with anything physical, you need to check in with your physician to ensure it’s not health or medical-related - some illnesses can cause waking up shaking in the morning as well.
I will say that I know the body can do strange and unusual things when we’re under high stress. I often have odd pains that are stress-related and I have multiple sclerosis and my sleep myoclonus is worse when I’m stressed.
As to spiritual or otherworldly causes, perhaps others may have suggestions.
Sending you strength, health, and light!
Thank you. I learned a lot!
Oh my goodness. I hadn’t heard of that before and I Googled it. It could be nothing but I think I would definitely mention this to your doctor as there are many things that can cause this and it would be good to rule things out. That it’s happening with intense dreams could also be significant (or not!) Sending you healing thoughts for your operation and best wishes for a swift recovery!
Thank you for your replies. I’ve spoken to both my doctor and therapist about this and both also say it could be anxiety related also. They’re just perplexed about one thing, I’m not physically or visibly shaking. My body feels like it’s vibrating from the inside out, almost like a buzzing feeling.
Now that’s what I get from caffeine- a couple days later thanks to my natural delayed reaction!
Really odd, for sure I’ve never heard of the vibrating but the body does strange things under stress, so I don’t doubt that you are experiencing it! Hopefully it passes soon
