The second video was on the Goddesses who were associated with Dragons and Serpents. It’s much shorter, but it’s a good jumping-off point if you want to research more.
I replied to Kelly-Ann with something which bubbled up from within me, from my history, which I had taken for granted…
I’m a chaote, but it comes from a deep memory of a place and time when a variety of paradigms were collected in order to honor them, to keep them accessible despite the abuses of other paths. This requires study in order to get the feeling just right, honoring the deities put forth in the paradigm, treasuring the cultures which created such wonders, and holding them as intact as possible for future study.
I’d like to hear what @dan3 might say about how he envisions this, since we are on a similar path, yet it seems so different sometimes.
I think Kelly-Ann is a hoot. I follow what she says and it is what I am pursuing. She wraps things around word bits (Paradigm Pirates) but when the longer explanation is dissected, I am firmly in her camp - but probably not on the same day.
The beauty of Chaos is that it allows for divergence and even expects it. If there are 10 different practitioners of Chaos, unless they were being guided, we would get 10 different descriptions of what was currently going on.
I’m a believer of beliefs… minus the dogma… I will never run out of things to study.
Thank you so much for posting these! I think I might be a Chaos Witch after all everything Kelly-Ann said in that video really resonates. Fascinating stuff! Thanks again
You’re welcome! I’m glad the Chaos one touched something in you. I realize now that I’m a bit of a Chaos witch. Chaos Wiccan? That sounds better than Eclectic. LOL!
I like what Rufus said from the movie Dogma: “I think it’s better to have ideas. You can change an idea. Changing a belief is trickier.”
But yeah, I get what you mean. We have to believe in ourselves first of all, then we can decide what to believe in.
You’re welcome! It was a great video! I had to share it!
Very true. But it was funny. LOL! Buddy!Jesus was hilarious and who doesn’t love George Carlin? Add in the massacre at the Mooby’s Board Meeting, and it was a weird but fun movie. It’s on YouTube, I think. If you want to watch it. It’s had issues getting to streaming so it’s difficult to find.
I was just looking into sea serpents last week when I wrote the little blurb in the Spells8 Newsletter about Sea Serpent Day. Always love learning more about dragons and their associated deities! Seems like a sign to keep researching
