This is a video from the 1989 “Fallen Angel” exhibition.
Has anyone been to or seen this before like in person?
If so, I have so many questions to ask…
Like, how??? How did they do this? This looks so real! Especially for 1989 era!!

Never heard of it so I googled, no idea if this is accurate but this is what Google says:
“The viral video isn’t from a 1989 exhibition. It’s a hyper-realistic contemporary art sculpture simply titled “Angel”, created by the Chinese artist duo Sun Yuan and Peng Yu—using fiberglass, silica gel, stainless steel, and woven mesh—and it was first made in 2008. It regularly recirculates on TikTok and Facebook every few years where people mistake it for a real creature or a supernatural event”.
Is this right? I don’t know but it’s what I found. Any one else? I’m curious. 
I was 19 in 1989, we had wicked special effects then so this could’ve easily been done then.

One of them I recognise from this film, The Dark Crystal 1982, at least it looks real close
I loved that film, it looks like film SFX to me, it’s very clever. It’s not real demons/angels, they never appear like that, they (in the peripheal vision) look more like:

Here’s one that’ll scare the s*t, in 1993 in the Trocadero Plaza in London they ran this ride/exhibition called Alien War. As you were queuing up, 10 went in, only 9 came out the exit. You had to walk through the event with a soldier guide, there were the aliens eggs bubbling away ready to crack, the soldier actor was super cool, we were a nervous wreck, then you had to go into the elevator, half way going up it jammed the doors flew open and no lie the alien came into the lift, it’s mouth opened, and that smaller alien came out its mouth, just like the film, it screamed then grabbed 1 kid before the door closed. The mum nearly had a heart attack! Just at the end we had to run like hell being chased by aliens, screaming right onto the mall entrance - looking like nutters. There was a bar right opposite with 9 shots of whisky ready. The kid was given the most amazing toys and free cinema. Best ride ever, but the special effects were amazing, puppetry/animatronics like I’ve never seen, it was so real. I think they had to close it in the end cuz so sad, but what an adventure

Just chatted to my friend about it, such fun, she nearly broke my hand she grabbed it so hard, I remember she shoved me to be infront of her and I fell. We had her, her boyfriend, me and another girl, her boyfriend just legged it and abandoned us.

Yeppers! I saw it in the theater! Those bug thingies and the Skeksis scared the crud out of 9-year-old me.
I’m not a big Aliens fan, but I would have gone with the boyfriend!
