Some of you might remember the pentacle I made from clay and Futhark runes for one of the catch up challenges. You can see my post here:
I’m not sure if this falls under ‘Creative Crafting’ or ‘Your Magickal Roots’, because it’s technically both!
I get addicted to the idea of buying shiny new things for my spiritual explorations, but I also like making use of what I have. My daughter has a tub of natural air dry clay that needs to be used, and I had the thought to make a little pentacle disk for rituals and spells.
I was going to do a simple pentacle with a circle, but then I thought to add Elder Futh…
My daughter surprised me last night by finally painting it. It’s hard to capture how beautiful it looks, but I was excited to share!
(She normally paints D&D figures and is phenomenal at it, so she was excited to work on this as it will be a tool we will share in our practice.)
It looks really good
What a great job!
wow! I bet you worked hard on that!
Thank you so much
@sankar fitting the runes around the circle was tricky! I used a toothpick but I think she did an awesome job with the painting! So happy with how it turned out.
I am so bad at second guessing myself, this disk was sitting on our counter for a while, and I was recently feeling like I wasn’t happy with how it looked. I guess the Universe gave me that little knock on the head that I needed, lol!
Both the carving and the painting were clearly done with heartfelt devotion and care- the pentacle altar disk turned out amazing!
You and your daughter and both quite talented with your craftsmanship
May the disk serve you well!
Thank you very much for the sweet compliments
It’s awesome! You and your daughter make quite the team!
@Amethyst aw thank you both of our spiritual paths have really improved since I ‘gave up the ghost’ and embraced this path with her!
Oh it’s gorgeous!
I remember you sharing about it when it was first finished and not painted. It’s great to see it come together like that. I’m so excited for you both!
@MeganB thank you! I’m really happy with how it turned out. I’m glad she took the initiative to paint it when she did!
Every word of praise is well-deserved, your finished disk really is a beauty!
Lots of love and blessed be!
Wow, that’s so awesome! I think it’s beautiful and even more special because you and your daughter’s intentions went into making it
This is amazing! How wonderful that you have something that has energy from both you and your daughter to place on your altar. Now you have me thinking about making one for my travel altar, as I don’t have a pentagram yet.
Hi Greg, welcome to spell8 and your new journey.
