Just wondering if the coven had ever tried a virtual Samhain ritual via Zoom or some such? It would be nice if we were all together at the same time…

I don’t think we’ve ever tried but I have thought about hosting something like that… 
I can give it a bit more brainstorming thought. Samhain is on a Thursday this year which is the day I have full classes and am usually not in the forum 
so I’m not sure what we would do or how. We do have the Samhain/Beltane 2024 
Coven Celebrations! post for the sabbat that helps cover both Samhain and Beltane for everyone. I know it’s not a virtual sabbat where everyone is together at the same time, but it does help everyone feel like a community when we all share our plans together.
If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to pop them in here! I’m not giving any guarantees, but I’ll do my best to see what works and what we can do.

Well, the Sabbat will be on a Thursday this time, so we’ll probably be doing a special Group Ritual.

Zoom would work for me. If it’s run state side, it’ll be early here, but I’ll get up for it, hey it’s Samhain, I’ll bring Loki and beer.

The time zone challenge is… quite a challenge, unfortunately. It’s one reason Megan kindly offers the healing sessions at multiple time slots over the course of the month, as it helps give an option to members all over the globe.
Like Amethyst mentioned, though, we will be having a group ritual that day! The ritual is open to everyone, regardless of where they’re at. It will run all day so anyone can join when their schedule allows. It will appear in group-ritual when it is ready, and all members are welcome to join

It absolutely is a great idea! I think Bry said it best – timezones make everything more challenging 
We also have many members in the Southern Hemisphere, so holding virtual sabbats for both Samhain and Beltane just adds more challenges into the mix.
However, if this is something our coven members would like, I’m sure we can figure out a way to make it work! It may not be in time for Samhain/Beltane, but maybe in time for the next Solstice!
