I didnāt know what āwassailingā was for the longest time, until one year we went to the Christmas event they used to do at Plimouth Plantation (I donāt think itās currently running but I may be wrong!).
Wassailing is basically going Christmas caroling! And they said that wassail punch was one thing that was given to carollers who came to your house (and much tastier than figgy pudding in my opinion
)
This is a perfect recipe for this time of year (although you know I say that about any recipe with all of those lovely warming seasonal spices!)
Thanks for sharing, @Amethyst!

I read somewhere that people would take their punch out to their apple trees and sing to them and give them a serving of punch so theyād grow more apples the next year. I just canāt remember where I read that! I hate it when that happens. LOL! Anyhow, Iām glad you like the recipe!

Although the people in my building would probably look at me funny if I went outside and sang off key to the trees sout my window. LOL!
