I think this is the first time since I joined the forum that I canā€™t participate in a challengeā€”I donā€™t have any catching up to do!

EDIT: The Summer Solstice marks my third year in the Craft. Could I post something solstice related?

invitation 1 Circles in Magick
Circle of Protection, what a great thing!
Whatever the Witch does must be within Her Circle to have protection and to concentrate her energy
When he learns at the beginning, he can use stones or rope
Then a second with candles and the third with salt
After she is experienced with the meditation she first makes a white circle of light around her above and below a second gold in the same way and finally towards the outside a blue electric
She and her partners are in the triple circle and she is ready to start

First of all, congratulations on having all the badges! Thatā€™s a heck of a feat!

I think you can do any challenge again, you just wonā€™t get a badge for it. Iā€™m sure a Solstice post would qualify as one of them!

Edit: Okay, so Iā€™m missing 20 challenges :joy: now to pick three I can do!

Alright, so my first challenge entry is for  Weekly Witchy CHALLENGE- Dream Magick!

I havenā€™t been sleeping very well for a while. I have no clue why, but I sleep and donā€™t feel rested. I mean, I sleep for between 7 and 9 hours a night. I donā€™t wake up at night or anything. Sleep is just hard for me

So, I created this sigil to use while I sleep. I thought about putting it on my skin somehow, maybe with a spell oil or something. I think I will draw it on some paper first and put it in my pillow!

I did this twice because the first one was too many letters for me to make it look nice.

Attempt #1

Attempt #2

I like attempt two the best. Attempt one was too busy and I just couldnā€™t bring it together in a way I liked.

Attempt two is better, in my opinion. It has a better flow as a sigil - plus it kinda looks like a person lying down in bed. The point of the cup-like symbol on top is an open vessel for distress. The line over the top is the closure of that vessel, symbolizing me being closed off to anything that will get in the way of having restful sleep.

My second challenge entry is for šŸ† Weekly Witchy CHALLENGE - The Challenger

I assigned each of my missing challenges a number and used a random number generator to pick one to do. This time, I landed on The Challenger! Itā€™s funny because I was thinking about what I could do for this challenge if I were to do it again. Astrology is one thing that came to mind because itā€™s something Iā€™ve always wanted to learn more about. So, for this challenge, I decided to create a basic guide to the meanings of each planet in astrology and how it corresponds to our personal lives. This will be added to my grimoire later when I print it out.

This is super, super basic, but itā€™s just the beginning! Hereā€™s what Iā€™ve got. You can save them and keep them if you want. The information I used came from my Time Passages app.

My third and final challenge entry will be for ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹ Weekly Witchy CHALLENGE - Wholesome Healers

One thing that kept coming to my mind when thinking about this challenge is inner child healing. It isnā€™t a physical pain or ailment, but for those of us with trauma, itā€™s a mental and subconscious healing thatā€™s necessary. Itā€™s not something Iā€™ve really done before ā€“ and honestly, it kind of freaks me out ā€“ but I wanted to create a tarot spread to help get me started and point me in the right direction.

Tarot Spread for Inner Child Work

Card One: how my inner child feels currently
Card Two: what my inner child needs right now
Card Three: how I can best give my inner child love and support
Card Four: something I left in childhood
Card Five: a message from my inner child

You can arrange the cards in any way you choose, but I chose to go with an arch ā€“ like a rainbow!

Obviously, Iā€™m not going to reveal my full reading to you, but hereā€™s an image of the cards laid out ā€“ card one is all the way on the left.

Ooooh thatā€™s a great idea! I just got all the challenges entered into an actual spreadsheet instead of just a running list in document form, so this would be a great idea for me to pick from the ones Iā€™m still missing! Thanks for the inspiration!

Challenge Entry 1 All About Runes

Always wanted to learn about Runes I bought my first set at the beginning of the year, Iā€™m still doing research and studying to try and learn more about them. I use the Runic Formulas app to help read the runes when I cast them. Iā€™ve also been learning how to draw runic formulas and bindrunes. I have drawn one on myself and it definitely helped me. Iā€™m still very new to runes but if anyone has any other advice, books or apps I should get to help with runes I much appreciate it. This is todays cast

and who designed them

Challenge Entry 2 A Touch of Tarot

Im still fairly new to reading cards but I have been reading my own and studying with the Labyrinthos app and here on spells8 to give me different spread options. Ive been reading the familyā€™s cards every Wednesday and so far I have been able to interpret the cards correctly to their questions they ask. I have only been doing 1-3 card spreads. I also did a read for someone who wanted answers from a loved one that passed, very new and very emotional one for me. I think with some more time and practice Iā€™ll be a decent card reader. Todays card

And my deck

Challenge Entry 3 Astrology: Reading the skies

Iā€™ve always been into astrology but never knew exactly what to look for or what to read till recently. I am and Aries first of the Zodiacs, the Ram, Fire sign, Cardinal, Ruling planet Mars. When I finally learned what an Aries person is I definitely fit that description . Here recently I found out about the different stages of each Zodiac and itā€™s pretty interesting this is a link if anyone wants to know which stage they are in The Three Stages of Each Zodiac Sign That Most People Donā€˜t Know About not sure how accurate it is but I found it pretty accurate for me. Another fun fact I have all 3 Fire signs in my household me being Aries my husband a Leo and our 2 children are Sagittarius, lot of fire going on over here :joy:

Stealing @MeganB 's idea - I picked my three using a random number generator.
I ended up with - The Wizardry of Words, A Healthy Dose of Crystals, and Wickedly Delicious

Challenge Entry #1- Wickedly Delicious
For my Litha celebration, I created a Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble - the first time ever!
Hereā€™s a recipe for a delicious and vibrant dessert: Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble.

Ingredients:

For the filling:
1 Graham Cracker crust
2 cups strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 cups rhubarb, chopped into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon

For the crumble topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375Ā°F (190Ā°C). Grease a baking dish or pie plate.
In a large bowl, combine the strawberries, rhubarb, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Gently toss until the fruit is evenly coated. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pie crust.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for the crumble topping. Add the cold cubed butter to the mixture and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut it into the dry ingredients until it resembles coarse crumbs.

Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the fruit mixture, covering it completely.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the fruit is bubbling and the crumble topping is golden brown.

Once done, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Serve the Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble warm or at room temperature. It pairs well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

It was delicious and the crumble topping was amazing! If I made another one, I would look into using gelatin instead of cornstarch to thicken the filling. It was yummy but very messy!
