Greek and Roman Magick Challenge

To all those who explored Greek and Roman magick, traditions, folklore, and more this week, here is a special shout-out for you! :mega:

There were a lot of wonderful entries out there! If I accidentally missed your entry or you forgot to label your post as your challenge entry- please let me know so I can add you in!

NOTE: While the overlap in Greek and Roman magickal traditions/pantheons saw them combined for the sake of this challenge, the badge given reflects the specific pantheon/culture explored in your entry.

For those who explored BOTH Greek and Roman practices in their entry this week (noted above), I sent over the badge that I felt most closely aligned with what you shared. If you would prefer the other badge, please let me know and I’ll be happy to make the switch :grinning:

  2. When the drop-down menu opens, click on the person (:mens:)
  3. Then, click on the next gear symbol (:gear:) /“Preferences”
  4. Scroll down the page until you see “Title”. In the small drop-down box, select the title of your choosing
  5. Click “Save” at the bottom of the page

Ah! I didn’t realize we could earn both Greek and Roman as separate badges! I guess I have something to work toward for the next challenge. Thank you for the Greek Badge. Congrats to all!

While the overlap between the two pantheons made me feel it would be best to showcase them together, I have to admit I struggled when it came to figuring out the badge! :sweat_smile:

But after reading all the great entries and giving it a lot of thought, I decided that the fairest way would be to give those who prefer/chose Greek traditions one badge, while those who explored Roman traditions another (thus honoring each tradition/path with their own unique recognition). There were several entries who featured/explored both, with most leaning towards one or the other, but everyone who entered got only one badge for the one challenge.

Both badges have been added to the forum’s collection, and either can be earned in future challenges! :grinning: (And speaking of which, we’ve got a pretty big Catch-Up right around the corner - challenge number 200!)
