Sleep & Dream Magick - Entry

I have struggled with sleeping since I can remember. I have only recently learned the true story of what happened to me as an infant sleeping in my crib. My mother lied to me, but my dad told my daughter, she told me when she realized I didn’t know! Crazy stuff! So now I understand my sleep issues, but that is a story for another time!

My daily sleep routine uses lots of essential oils. I was never interested in using them and was so doubtful, but my daughter kept rubbing them on me. And surprisingly I could feel them. My mood changed, and I felt more confident. I have come to love essential oils and could not live without them. Note: I only use therapeutic high-quality essential oils which have a higher vibration as well as healing properties! Please use caution, especially with essential oils purchased at local stores, and always read the labels!

  1. I start my evening ritual with a cup of Sleepy Time Tea!
  2. I take Serenity and Metapower capsules with filtered water.
  3. I fill my diffuser with water and add Lavender and sometimes Bergamot
  4. I take a warm shower, I prefer a bath, but this house only has showers!
  5. I apply my Depression Blend (Balance, Elevation, Serenity, Vetiver) to my forehead, temples, and behind my ears, then Adaptive, next I use Peace, Console, and Forgive on the bottoms of my feet.
  6. If I’m upset or feeling down, I apply Rose Essential Oil to my heart.
  7. Write in my journal
  8. Send healing and prayers
  9. Sleep meditation

Sure! Feel free to add it to your BOS!

Since I cast this spell, my cats have been sleeping with me every night, even though it hasn’t been cold at night (that’s the only time they usually do). :smile_cat:

HI!
I know this is late, however, I wanted to share this Spell that I found here @ Spells8. It is called ā€˜Return to Sender Spell’ but I use it at bedtime to help me let go of my ā€˜demons’. Like many others, I too have had stressful situations in my life and I have felt that I have been dealt a raw deal. Sometimes at night, when I am trying to sleep, all these feelings pop up in my head and I can’t seem to let them go, so I use this spell to help me send these thoughts away to help me sleep.

Return To Sender Spell
Ingredients:

1 Black Candle

1 lemon

1 athame or knife

Incense (ginger or cinnamon)

1 handful of cloves

Lighter or matches

Motivation:

  • The black candle is for protection. A ā€˜return to sender’ or a karma spell is a protective shield that makes all harm bounce back to where it came from.
  • Lemon is a cleansing agent and can be used to purify and absorb negative energies. Cutting it open we release some fresh, clear energies around us.
  • Cloves are aligned with Jupiter and the element Fire. They are traditionally burned or worn for protection against magical or psychic attacks.

How to cast the Spell:

  1. Light the incense.

  2. Think of all the harmful events that you’ve been experiencing. It doesn’t matter who caused them. Focus on how you feel.

  3. Light the candle.

  4. Cut the lemon in half.

  5. Take 3 cloves, and press them inside one half of the lemon. Do the same with the other half. As you do this, say this spell:

ā€œThe pain you caused me now is your own.

Just is here, I’m not alone.ā€

6 Visualize again what justice means to you.

  1. When you’re ready, open your eyes. Blow out the candle to release your intention into the Universe.

  2. Put the lemon inside a cup or container and leave it under your bed for the rest of the night. The power of lemon will take care of cleansing you, and the cloves will guard you while you sleep.

  3. The next morning, throw the lemon in your compost or with your regular waste disposal. Light the candle again whenever you need to recharge the spell for extra protection.

I hope this helps someone other than me.
Blessed Be,

Return to Sender Spells are a classic for a reason- they really are a useful spell to have in the Book! I think it is especially creative and clever to use this spell to help you release stress and clear a safe and relaxing way into sleep. That’s really smart! Thank you for sharing, Sara- I wish you only happy and stress-free dreams! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :sleeping_bed: Blessed be!
