Warm greetings to all!
We have some exciting news! Starting today, we are trying something new!
The Spells8 Forums will begin offering a WEEKLY CHALLENGE! These challenges will be left fairly open- you are welcome to adapt them to your unique practice and needs. There are no right or wrong answers, and there is no way to ‘lose’ the challenge if you participate! The goal is to provide encouragement, the sharing of new ideas, and to help you to strengthen your practice!
Are you ready? Here we go~!
IT’S CHALLENGE TIME!
In order to complete the challenge, there are two simple parts:
STEP 1: Within the next week, research and try one new aspect of your practice
Have you always wanted to try crystal work ? Has meditating in the forest always called to you, but you’ve been hesitant to give it a try ? Maybe you’ve set aside a spell but haven’t taken the time to go through with it yet . The time is right- this is a sign to go ahead and give it a try!
For spellcasters: maybe study and try a new spell.
For kitchen witches, consider giving a new recipe a try.
For those who like rituals, implement a new aspect (perhaps using a new type of crystal, experimenting with an unfamiliar herb, or learning a new incantation) or try a Daily Devotional
For crafters, it could be time to try a new project!
Also a remember that Litha is upon us! If celebrating the summer solstice is something that interests you, why not give a Litha ritual a try? For more information about Litha, take a peek at Litha Altars, Ritual Ideas, and Midsummer FAQ
STEP 2: After you’ve experimented with something new- comment below with your findings!
Feel free to talk about your experience- be sure to mention what it was that you tried! Did it work how you expected it to? Will you use this new method again, adapt it, or put it aside? Would you recommend it to your fellow witches?
The challenge will conclude in 7 days- on Friday, June 26th.
When the challenge closes, everyone who gave it a shot will receive a shout-out , and there may just be a small prize for all participants
The goal of this challenge is to strengthen and diversify your practice with something new. Remember- there is no way to lose as long as you give it a try! Whether you love what you tried or hate it- you gain something either way: a valuable experience! If it doesn’t work out- nothing lost! But if your new adventure pays off, then you’ve gained a new skill that you can further adapt and implement in your practice
I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone’s ideas, and I wish the best of luck to all
