I think you could substitute almond milk. Almonds would be good for your skin too
It smoked like all get out but I didn’t set off any alarms. I’m really pleased because I didn’t want to buy charcoal just for salt, you know? The whole book is great!
And thank you for taking the time to answer everything, that’s got to be a big deal with how many people are participating nowadays!
So lavender has two properties that excel and are amplified in this potion. Protection and purification. when added last at the bottling stage and allowed to sit in the water its powers are amplified by the rest of the brew making it a potent low-level banishing and purification water. if kept in the fridge in a dark bottle or covered light-proof bottle it will last for one year for use and 6 months if you add it to coffees and teas.
I’m so happy to hear that, MsQ- congrats to you for discovering a wonderful new talent, you’ve really got a knack for potion making!
You’re a legend, Megan I haven’t been able to write individual responses to entries for a while- things have been so busy lately that when I come back in after the weekend I have all I can do to get through sorting everything! It is a delight to read the entries and see the pictures though- I’m hoping I’ll be able to make the time to write responses individually again soon
Please don’t be! You have a ton going on and it’s a crazy busy time of year- no hard feelings at all, Siofra! There is always a Catch-Up Challenge right around the corner
That’s a good idea! Now if I could just keep up with the phases of the moon too seriously, one day my life will calm down a bit
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you’re excited to be here and just jump right into everything that interests you. That’s great!
Please let me know how the coffee syrup potion works for you. I’m on day two and it seems to be doing a decent job!
Ahh that makes sense thanks for explaining!
You’re one of the ones with the badge specific to having done all the challenges, right? (Is that a thing or am I not remembering right?) Anyway…now you have challenges to do for the catch-up next time!
Aww thanks I try to do it every time so I make sure I’m reading everything but it doesn’t always happen.
Awesome! That’s so good to know!
Thank you!
It’s good that you didn’t set off any smoke alarms I can’t burn things inside because it never fails that I set off some kind of alarm no matter how careful I am
And you’re welcome! I enjoy going through and replying to everyone’s entries
It helps me to make sure I read everything but then also stores some information away for me for use later
Ahh that makes perfect sense, thank you for explaining
Oh geez I don’t know about legend but I definitely do try!
I woud like the recipe.
Last Tuesday, we had one of the most awful storms I’ve ever seen.
The city where I live almost flooded, hail fell that damaged many cars, the traffic became crazy and we almost had to vacate an entire street because of the water that came in the houses. I can’t describe the chaos in a town where it rarely rains, but everything ended well.
In the middle of all this chaos, I collected some storm water because I felt the need of do it. I dont know why, but I feel I was going to need in some point. Tuesday was 11th of October (11/10) and I felt it more magickal than other times. (And I also felt a little bit guilty for being collecting storm water in the middle of that!)
I know it has nothing to do with the topic of the challenge, but I needed to share it.
Sometimes we feel drawn towards doing things even if they don’t make sense in the moment- I am sure that this storm water of yours is going to be a valuable tool for you in the future!
(And if moon water counts as potion, I’d consider storm water to be in the same category, so no worries! )
May your storm water serve you well!
