Challenge Entry - Your Inner Child
The Tarot for Creative Writing reminded me that I have wanted to watch the seminar for Triggering Creativity with Tarot by Benebell Wen. I’d printed out the companion workbook ages ago (over 3 years!!!) but hadn’t gotten around to actually watching the webinar until last week.
I chose to try the Triggering Creativity with a Simple Cross Spread
(Forgive the photos - squeezing this in on an overnight trip for an appointment.)
I won’t share my reading, but I will share the cards I pulled.
- Knight of Mushrooms/Pentacles (Reversed)
- Seven of Mushrooms (Reversed)
- The Heirophant
- Six of Mushrooms
- Four of Mushrooms
The other part of my challenge is sharing my childlike glee at the bounty of feathers I found last Thursday and Saturday while I was out running. It happens to be Fall Migration Season for migratory birds in the United States (you can view migration forecasts here). To get ready for migration, birds will shed a few of their worn feathers to grow in new ones. I appear to have been in the right places at the right time ![]()
The first 3 photos are feathers from Red Tailed Hawks. They like to perch on high vantage points, and I happened to run past a set of utility towers that they clearly utilize. I had never seen primary feathers from a red tail, so these were very exciting to find. (My running partner was thankfully patient with my
fascination)
