You Are A Bioelectrical Being. Cool!

I think one of the most important things to do in your practice is to do grounding work.

Even if you don’t practice witchcraft. It’s super important to ground!

Grounding work can be extremely helpful for those that suffer from anxiety, PTSD, panic, and depression. Grounding can also be good for your overall quality of life and health!

Grounding is a practice that can help you to focus on your present surroundings, instead of feeling trapped in the past or future.

Grounding is also known as ‘earthing’- it is a therapeutic technique, when we make an energetic connection to the earth’s energies. Basically, electrically connecting you to earth!

Earthing/Grounding has been studied and there are some amazing help benefits to it!

If you want a simple technique for grounding, walk barefoot in the grass, dirt or sand.

Technically, we as humans are bioelectrical beings. That is SUPER COOL!

Our bodies are typically neutral…but they can become unbalanced. When a cell becomes stimulated, it becomes more positively charged. The Earth’s surface is negatively charged. When we make contact through grounding, (earthing) we release our “extra” energy into the earth, producing a HEALING effect on the human body.

How cool is that?

I don’t know about you, but whenever I am feeling off…if I go outside in nature…I come back 100% better.

Grounding may also be helpful with:

Reducing Inflammation

Increase Energy

Reduce Levels of Cortisol

Decrease Chronic Pain

Restoring Body Balance

Sleep

Stress Levels

Practice incorporating grounding techniques today! Your health may depend on it!

“Earthing connects us to Nature and Nature is the ultimate source of health and healing."

Picture of where I walk alot and connect…

This topic was taken from my old website when I was known as The Eclectic Green Witchery. I still believe in this grounding work – even more so today! Which is why I am sharing it. I think it’s an important topic to think about.

Since I can remember I have always been barefoot both indoors and outdoors at home and on Holiday I love my feet to be free. I don’t have carpets only on the trends of my stairs and my flooring is wood. The feeling of grass and rainwater the sand, ocean connects me to Earth in different ways. It is truly liberating.

My husband swears his old 3G Motorola that he refuses to give up despite it being almost completely unusable charges when it’s in his pocket. He absolutely delights in showing me the extra 2% he gets back every hour or so LOL

When I worked as a Child Educator for over 20 years as part of my practice and knowledge children who wear no shoes helps with their feet to grow and of course feeling all of the sensory objects under their feet (grass, water, sand) as @Moonbeam said, connects them to the understanding of the senors underneath them.

What an important profession you had nurturing children as what they learn does play an essential part in how they view the world and what they may become.
