A yule poem for you

Eternal Gods who spin the year
We beckon you to come by here
Yule’s fires ablaze
Glittering frost lays
in the shortest of days.
God bring your light
Blanket of sun -wrap tight

Queen of Winter ageless be
Life from death in forms of three
Birth life anew
Frost turn to dew
Let seed awake
Let all renew

Thanks be to thee
Who marches time
A hope in dark to see
No more in cold
Suspended hold
What lies below
Beneath the snow
Will soon awake and grow
So mote it be

This is so perfect for not only for Yule, but also for the changes that happen soon after! The cold and frost gradually make way to new growth and the fresh start of spring :seedling:

Such a pleasure to read, @Berta! I am always blown away by your talent with poetry :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I feel blessed to be able to read this!
