Aleister Crowley's Coffee Consecration ☕

Like I need another reason to drink coffee @Francisco !!! I typically make a sigil that represents peace/harmony/happiness each morning in my coffee, but adding other magick is on the agenda now, thank you for the interesting post and thread! :coffee:

I have my own private mantra that I do every day between 2 and 3 when I make my matcha tea, I learned it in a tea ceremony when I was in China and it really stuck with me and gives me energy and focus for the rest of the work day. Now, it’s just a great ritual that makes me feel grounded and have purpose.:teapot:.

Thank you for this detailed, learned, knowledgeable information.

I definitely can relate. I also stir my morning coffee and my nighttime Tea, of course, depending on the month, day, time, the moon, the sun, the etc…in the way I would be doing a spell.

Blessed Be,

Girl start with a nice roobius tea and go from there. Add some cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg. Pretty much make a pumpkin pie lol

Thank you for the consecration. I love coffee and take it everyday…. My ancestors’ s rituals are made with coffee and white candle every Monday. It has a great energy around the house☕️

Agreed! I often use my morning coffee in ritual, symbolizing both water and Earth, as freshly ground coffee is one of the most ‘grounding’ scents I experience, outside of soil itself! lol!

Oh, that’s a good way to put it! :coffee: I’ve always loved the smell of freshly ground coffee - plus, from a scientific point of view, smelling coffee beans or coffee grounds can help clear out other scents from the nose – it works both ways!

Wow… an enduring thread for sure. And why not? I have dithered from coffee to tea and back to coffee. We were in the UK for 12 years and, of course, I became an avid tea drinker. At the time I didn’t think I would go back. Yet here I am.

I used to grind my own beans but my ability to function early in the morning meant I had to think. Have you ever brewed a coffee but forgot to add the coffee? This is why they invented K-Cups and Nespresso. However, I have still forgotten to put a fresh module in the machine.

When I first saw this thread, I had just been researching Crowley and I was a bit afraid to read it given some of the things Crowley did. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: I just, finally, got around to it and was pleasantly surprised.

My morning coffee is an unnamed ritual and I drink it black with a touch of artificial sweetener. It gets my brain going (tea does to a lesser extent but I have to load it with milk and sugar). I was reading this thread with a cup near my laptop.

I downloaded the printable. I don’t know if I will use it since I already seem to have raised coffee to a sacred morning ritual. :heartbeat: :heartbeat:
