So last night I cast a sugar binding spell on my ex, after the spell was cast we started texting right before bed and he was being so sweet. So I went to sleep, and I had a dream of this woman who never came right out and said that she wanted to take over my body but that was the impression that I was getting from her. I didn’t feel anything evil from her or off of her. But I got the impression that she wanted to “handle” the situation with my ex. And it’s just strange because part of the spell involves writing on a sheet of paper and I remember during casting the spell I looked down at my hands for a moment and it almost felt like someone else writing what I had to write.
And it’s odd because last night I slept so good I slept through the entire night I never do that but last night I slept all the way until 5:06.
After the spell was cast, I was in the bathtub and I had my bedroom door open and the bathroom door open and you can see the bedroom from the bathroom and I just got this feeling that there was a female presence standing on my side of the bed so I looked out the bathroom door and just stared at my side of the bed and I didn’t feel any harm or anything like that there was nothing evil that I felt. And my best friend has been staying with me and she texted me this morning and said “I felt another presence in the apartment last night with us and I still feel her right now. I think she is your other half.”
Not really sure what to do with this information. I’ve had multiple people tell me that they thought that I had like a split alter ego or something like that not that I ever act like a different person or anything but just that they felt like there was another side to me that was more brave and confident and kind of cocky I guess. The side of me that wasn’t afraid.
So. Does anyone have any advice on this…or feel anything?
The best advice I’ve ever gotten for something like this is to follow your knowing first. It is good to have validation from others, but we know what we need most. So if this presence doesn’t feel like a threat, and you feel like she would be able to help you deal with the situation, and if she’s a part of you, and if you feel safe to do so, go for it. Definitely don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you don’t understand something or feel at all unsafe, it is always a good first step to ask yourself and your guides. And if after you have asked those questions and giving things some thought, you can then make a better decision of how you want to proceed. If feeling into that dream gives you a sense of understanding, safety, connection, that’s definitely something to look into. I would ask yourself what does that presence feel like and how does she make you feel.
I second Vermillion and Megan about listening to your instincts- if you feel this entity means you no harm and that there’s no danger, then I believe you can trust that.
What you probably do want to consider, though, is the identity of this woman- is it a deity? A spirit? Since it appeared during the sugar binding spell, I think it opens up additional possibilities too. Is this an alternate version of yourself? A personification of your emotions? I think figuring out exactly who or what this presence is would be a good next step.
