August Lenormand - 2026 - Celebrate The Harvest!

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Stork: changes, care, improvement, movement

Key: opening or closing, opportunities, solutions, revelation

Crossroads: decisions, choices, uncertainty, direction, transition

I like a general Narrative for this draw.

This past week I’ve turned my attention to the transitions involved in the end of summer, mainly outside decisions (Crossroads).

There are always changes involved that ultimately lead to improvement (Stork), and the Key card is representative of those choices and decisions, leading to personal solutions in my living space.

Reflection: this one seems short and sweet, but it’s been a busy week with a lot of little things accomplished. It’s hard to zero in on a single particular thing, so I"m looking at the whole picture here.

Super Sunday Feathertip,

Took me a little bit to see that. I try my own read when I see the post before I see the readers interpretation. I like it!!

Thank you! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I agree, it’s fun to look at everyone’s draws and interpretations. I’ve learned so much from these threads.

Super Sunday Sorcerers,

Lenormand Today - What should I be proud of this week?

google images

communication/social activities

burden/worries

wishes/aspirations

My son and I were in a social situation this week, that challenged us (the burden and worries), and we made it successfully. (our wishes and aspirations were fulfilled)

So, this is something wonderful to be proud of this week!! This is in relationship to what my son and I have been working on for the last few years.

Deck: LenReal - Tarot equivalent cards are used for the Lenormand draw. Images are AI

Coffin, Mountain, Stork

End + Hold + Rise

I need to end first impulses, still hold on to my core beliefs, and rise above emotions to give honest but non-confrontational responses.

Wow. Getting tougher cards today. My Tarot draw also had Death (Coffin in Lenormand)

August 14th was Navajo Code Talker Day but I neglected honoring it on that day (said I would). I did mention it today over in the Tarot Talks section.

Clouds, Book(s), Clover

The day started a bit confusing and full of questions. The fog was lifted with details that brought light and clarity. With a little luck and optimism we climbed up into a comfortable situation.

We had a med scare but the results (just communicated) erased the doubt and worry.

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Stork: changes, care, improvement, movement, transition

Mice: loss, stress, uncertainty, complication

Child: childhood, trust, small matters, new beginning, a new stage

Today has been a busy one for me, but I have had the beginnings of a new project in the back of my mind (Child).

The Stork card represents transitions: both to the end of summer and spending so much time tending the garden, and gearing up to working more indoors.

The Mice card is showing up today to likely point to the uncertainties that lie within any stage of transition.

Reflection: this was a bit of a mixed draw, but I thought it did address the question in an overall positive way.

Ewww. That’s never easy to live with - glad it has had a positive outcome!

Wonderful! I always view social functions with trepidation - which is surprising since I had a life full of them. I get nervous before the time and have to deep breath. Freakin’ neurotic. I’m so glad you had a successful event!

I know you are away and am sending best wishes for a good outcome! :green_heart:

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Dog: friendship, loyalty, kindness, trust

Sun: energy, happiness, luck, a positive outcome, health

Bouquet: gift, happiness, gratitude, beauty, success

I’ll go with a general Narrative format here.

I have some minor things going on inside the home that need my attention - the garden chores take up most of my morning but I am certainly loyal to taking care of my home (Dog) that doesn’t crumble away while I’m busy elsewhere.

The Sun card represents the energy I’ll need for the rest of the day - taking care of a little bit of everything that’s been put aside.

I love the Bouquet card - promising success and beauty as a result of my efforts.

Reflection: this is a rich and lovely draw, and suits my day perfectly today.

Deck: Godfather - images from the Godfather Trilogy

I’ve been pushing through uncertainty and mixed signals about some family health concerns and I need to realize that there are always small issues that need to be managed. With that realization will come a strengthened bond with my loved ones who share everything.

Obstacle - Cut -Inspiration and Hope

My recent efforts to trim/cut obstacles in my path have resulted in a bit more inspiration and hope. It is always best to be proactive with these things.

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Child: childhood, trust, a new stage, small matters

Ship: trip, foresight, growth, opportunity

Birds: conversations, communication, chatter

I will use the boundary of meditation to keep my mind quiet today, and not let my bouncing thoughts interfere with the day (Birds).

I have been torn between indoor and outdoor responsibilities, and for a couple of things I know to let a lot of the small stuff go (Child).

The Ship card represents my desire to keep moving.

Reflection: the day’s only half over but this is a great draw to hold onto.

structure - curiosity - affection

The day will become more enjoyable when I step out of the usual structure (Tower), let myself approach things with freshness and curiosity (Child), and follow whatever feels genuinely warm or affectionate (Heart).

A change of setting, a beginner’s gesture, and a sincere connection seems to summarize it. I always think touching base with my inner child makes things more enjoyable.

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Anchor (modifier): security, constancy, stability, reliability

Bouquet (subject): gift, happiness, beauty, gratitude

Ship (modifier): movement, foresight, growth, opportunity

I like the classic mod/subj/mod format here.

Today is a good day for me to turn my attention to tasks that bring enjoyment. I like seeing the Bouquet in the center position. When the surrounding cards support it, my read can become focused on this positive card. The tasks will bring beauty into the home and keep me in a grateful frame of mind.

I will keep moving along, though (Ship), so I can get other things going. The Anchor is the card that binds the day together.

Reflection: this is an unexpected draw but really welcome. Almost a permission slip to do only the things I feel like doing.

I’ll do a card by card with emphasis on light instead of shadow since a couple of tougher cards showed up.

Snake - nasty complications bit in the butt
Ring - commitment honored
Cross - burdens lifted

A relationship is improving through temptation becoming honesty (Snake), commitment becoming clearer (Ring), and burdens being released or forgiven (Cross).

Lenormand Today - What helpful information has come my way today?

woman/feminine energy

power/strength/control/protection

choices/scattered/difficult decision

Well, my immediate trip to CA was to see a family member who is having a VERY difficult time. This spread is telling me what I saw and felt IS the right thing.

I was extremely worried about her (I have been trying to get there since Nov, but since I no longer have a vehicle…) my son drove me in a rent-a-car (Monday 4 am, got back home Wed 9pm and the drive time was over 20 hrs…busy couple days).

Well, I got to see the family, and yes, she is having to handle a gross amount of issues (both gross and in much, and gross as in disgusting, the both). But what I saw and felt when I was there, other than the despair and near hopelessness of what that part of my family is dealing with, I happened to leave with the feeling of what these cards are telling me.

**The Woman (my cousin) is remaining very strong and standing her ground, at this very difficult juncture of her life.

Ultimately, my visit had me feeling a little better, and her realizing that just because I am a state away, and cannot drive, I am still available to help her out.

Wonderful of you to go to her. Sometimes just knowing someone is there is huge. I hope she is able to get back up.

My draw today is from the Art deck.

Key: opening or closing, opportunities, new beginnings, revelation

Child: childhood, trust, a new stage, small matters

Fish: finances, abundance, flow, generosity, rewards

I like a general Narrative format here.

I’ve spent some time recently pawing through some old art supplies, and have been impressed by not only how much I’ve accumulated over time, but the fact that I have discovered a new-to-me product and like what I’ve learned about it* - hence, there may be a purchase in the near future (Fish).

The Child card represents my desire to play, and not worry about the smaller issues that will come up throughout the day.

Both the Key and the Child card point to new stages/beginnings, and I like seeing these cards at this time of year. While Summer is definitely on the wane, there is still more to do (also Fish) and enjoy.

Reflection: *the wallet may not agree with the importance of this helpful new info, but I’m sure I can win the debate.
