Beginner Astrology - Guide to Retrogrades

I like the color scheme of the graphics myself, but that could just be me  I have the settings on my phone & laptop reversed so the background is black & the text is white. Maybe add some information on how they affect each other? The differences between Fixed, Cardinal, & Mutable? Um… you could do something on Cusp signs? I’m not sure what you already have learned or how far you’ve gotten into how they all interact with each other, but those would be good additions too.

Hello @Cosmic_Curiosity! Your post explaining the North and South nodes was really intriguing.

I looked up my chart that I ordered ages ago and my North Node is in Aquarius. But I don’t see a reference to the South node. How do I figure that out?

The aesthetic and color scheme you have on the infographics is gorgeous and works really well digitally- my only thought is that a black background would use considerably more ink when printed than a white background would. It may or may not affect the printing costs of the book. Just one thing to help weigh your decision one way or another! :balance_scale:

I second Siofra’s suggestions about Fixed/Cardinal/Mutable and Cusps- those are both interesting topics that could be worth exploring more! :grinning:

Nothing else is jumping to mind at the moment, but if I think of anything else (and I’m sure there are other things- Astrology is such a vast area!) I’ll be sure to reach out!

Thanks again for all you do, Alan- your Astrology Guides are a real blessing! :star2:

Hey @Phoenix_Rose . Your south node would be directly opposite your north. Since your north is in Aquarius, the sign opposite this would be Leo. The way to figure it out is just to look to see which sign is directly opposite on your chart

Blessed be

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I do have a page about cardinal, fixed and mutable meanings but realised i haven’t posted it :see_no_evil:

Thank you for you for your considerations about the colour schemes too. I do like the white text on the darker background but using my teacher head here, know that it could make it difficult for some to read. Maybe i could have 2 versions

Cosmic Curiosities - A Beginner’s Guide to Astrology

I think the fact that i was thinking about a book and then its mentioned by members here is a sign to try it out. Might go for an e-book/kindle version first as opposed to printed to see how I manage. Then i could go to print so to speak if it is wanted.

Many thanks for your input

Blessed be

Thank you @Cosmic_Curiosity !

A friend of mine had done a print on demand book when she published so it didn’t cost her a lot to publish. That may be an option too so you can do e-book and print at the same time.
