My husband and I were married for 16 years . . . They were not happy years. They were hard. I think we stayed together for our two children. He unfortunately passed in 2006, it was very unexpected and very scary. He died from something rare, and I was concerned if the kids would be susceptible, fortunately they were not. I re-married in 2014, and I have been so happy, I met my soul mate, my best friend and lover. But I frequently (as least once a week) have dreams of my first husband and they are never good dreams, I wake up grateful that it was only a dream and my current husband is frequently having scary dreams. So we feel that we’re not getting a good nights rest. And our luck is “shit” I hate say it like that but that is the honest truth. I recently realized that I still had my first husband’s pictures and other items that were his in the house. Could I be provoking him to stay and witness my happiness which then leads to his envy, jealousy and anger. The pictures and items weren’t left out of spite, quite frankly I forgot they were there. Bottom line, could this be possible?
Tempting Tuesday Vicky,
I think that is a very likely possibility. I suggest getting rid of the items that are definitely his, from your current space with your husband. Ask the children first if they want any of the items. If they do, then they no longer “belong” to you. If they don’t, dispose of them however you see fit, since the energy seems to be around you. Then, and even now, do a cleanse, blessing of your whole home.
This is how I do mine: I wait until I am alone with the whole house to myself. In this case, you may want your husband with you since he seems to be spiritually attacked also.
I take a smudge stick, and bells (any sound, bang a pan if you have to). The bells are to “scare” away, the smudge helps to purify the space.
I walk room to room shaking the smudge and making noise and then I chant/speak–
- You must leave, I decree; it is best, this for me!
- I ban negative energy; break and erase it, set me free!
- Banish all who mean harm, hear these words, this my charm; I demand STAY AWAY. NOW! You heed what I say.
- May my home and I be free; safe and well, so mote it be.
Use any of these. I write my own, sometimes with inspiration from other’s writings. I love poetry, so I rewrite everything to be rhymes with a rhythm.
Good Luck, You are in my supplications!!![]()
